29th October 2022 at 2:21 pm #200379Shit on a stick, just saw our line-up, certainly one eye on next Wednesday for sure… have a feeling it’s going to be a long and somewhat boring afternoon for us Spuds… fancy a 0-0 if I’m honest… or 1-0 eitherway… might have to find a good movie instead…

29th October 2022 at 3:25 pm #200382We are the absolute masters of shooting ourselves in the foot… complete control without really cresting much and then gift Cherries a gaol out of nothing…

29th October 2022 at 3:30 pm #200383And now the Cherries are “practising” the drak arts… bit early chaps!!

29th October 2022 at 3:43 pm #200384I very much doubt Einstein could explain how Royal is a professional footballer, or worse yet, how Conte keeps picking him… playing Spence, Dockerty, a road cone, or my pet tortoise Alan, really couldn’t be any worse…

29th October 2022 at 3:47 pm #200385Been watching Brighton-Chelsea. Brighton very impressive. Not giving Chelsea a second to rest. Much the better side.

29th October 2022 at 3:53 pm #200386Brighton lost star players in the summer, lost their manager since but still play very good football. I don’t know much about this new manager of theirs but the times I’ve seen them they’ve had great movement and energy and he has to take credit.

29th October 2022 at 3:59 pm #200388HT and Spuds have to be leading every single “metric” you can measure football by a considerable margin the one that counts… normally I would be thinking about turning it off, but I do think Spuds can actaully turn this around.. Cherries have offered nothing at all and they’re only going to get what Spuds give them (like their goal!)…

29th October 2022 at 6:28 pm #200393A 4-1 humbling at Brighton is a setback for Chelsea but an appointment like Potter is always going to require patience and perseverance. If Chelsea did their homework on Potter, as you’d assume, they’d know he took a while to get Brighton playing how he wanted and they’ll hopefully have the patience the previous regime lacked to see Potter do the same at Chelsea.

29th October 2022 at 6:57 pm #200394Lol, the only thing interesting about the current game playing is Marco Silva’s Jumper (I want one of those!).
Maybe I should flick over to watch Dinner Date until Liverpool are on!

29th October 2022 at 6:59 pm #200395Ed, I’m hoping Potter will be allowed time with the new regime. Historically under Abramovic, a period of bad results would lead to the Trapdoor for Managers.

29th October 2022 at 7:05 pm #200396Imagine if Newcastle brought in Mane and Coutinho. Eddie Howe is getting serious momentum and consistency out of this team. Not a fan of theirs, but it’s refreshing to see them on 4th place.
