Regards your issue with not being able to talk about cheksea without chelsea fans debating with you…The way I see it complaining about fans defending their clubs/Players from “perceived” unbalanced or unfair criticism in debate in a forum called footydebate is pointless…I don’t know what else could be expected.

Banjo I would agree with that, what is debated is when one calls rivals players blatant cheats for it but then rationalises their own as just being clever…at least if you did that you would certainly just be on the wind up and not serious.

To be clear though if anyone looks at my posts re rudiger incident you will see I said we were fortunate – because klich had no reason to kick out like that and fouled our player, as slight as it was it was stupid
I also said rudiger was laughing before his ass hit the ground because he couldn’t believe his luck, he went down like sack of spuds and took the penalty like any other player would.

I don’t have any issue with anyone criticising the state of the game or being pissed at rudiger for going down like he had been shot

However, foxy and threeps calling him blatant cheat while justifying their players looking for pens and diving as clever at same time is just plain one sighted hypocrisy and bs…I will always call that nonsense for what it is…nonsense.

Whoever it is and whatever team, including City, I am fed up with the diving and cheating. So called simulation is cheating. Madison dived in my opinion. Never a penalty. Why couldn’t VAR pick it up? And then he is man of the match. Cheats clearly do prosper!

LD, I think Threeps is an objective lad. You’re discrediting him because he disagrees with you. I agree entirely with Threeps’ last definition of both situations and it isnt just because I’m a Liverpool supporter. I willa dd again that Im not entirely a fan of strikers putting themselves into situations where defenders will foul them but just as defenders will grab them all day long, they also have to work to the very extent of the rules.

Salah didnt dive, Rudiger did.

That’s my opinion, you and others are welcome to theirs. I dont want to fall out over it and I think we should definitely try a bit harder to get along today.

Us 3 are clearly fighting hard for every single point and we should find some way to appreciate the difficulty of this season and not be at eachtohers throats, because it’s going to be a special one.

Let’s leave this all there now lads it didn’t need to get as out of hand as it did and everyone has to bear some responsibility for that me included re my Strongbow remark to Nil which I’ve deleted and I apologise to Nil for it.

Calling players out for over exaggeration is frankly silly because every Club has multiple players that do it and the vast majority of players will react to any contact in the box.

Shame it went as far as it did but let’s all try and move on.
