Not an easy watch for Liverpool fans. Thought it was a pen with Alisson, who looked shaky throughout, on Ings. The ref was very poor all game so no real surprise he got that wrong too.
Read the Chelsea last minute penalty is a bit dodgy but obviously not seen it yet. If that’s the case then all the top 3 have benefited today from poor decisions.

Rover, I haven’t seen the city or pool games but imo just be thankful for the luck we received today bud getting out of that game with 3 points was a miracle, we were awful.

Rover, I think all 3 only just came through today after suffering scares. This is what sets this current top 3 apart from the rest. They all looked like dropping points today but in the end scrape through when it counts. The sign of champions. Only problem is, all 3 are currently doing that. Hard to imagine which of these will win it and which will come third.

Lucky, yeah even the BT Sport commentator commentating on the game who is an ex Leeds player and a Leeds fan admitted it was a pen as did Peter Walton. To be fair I’ve yet to see it but you have and if you say it was a pen “that’s good enough for me Tommy”.😊

The Chelsea “peno” may have been a “peno” under the “letter of the law” but I agree with the BBC Blog comment the 3p’s posted… if stuff like that is a peno then the game has gone to the dogs.

Threeos, it was stupid and soft but imo defo a foul and fouls in the penalty boxes are penalties,
“It’s a simple ball into Rudiger, back to goal, Klich kicks through him, and it’s a pen! What is Klich playing at?!”
That was skysports.com commentary on the pen, whoever wrote what you pasted from BBC is about 20 years out of touch with what is or isn’t a penalty imo bud.

Nepolean, yeah, under the letter of the law, namely that an attacking player can fall down in the penalty box under any level of contact, as long as contact is made, then it’s a nailed on peno, then it was a peno… 🙂
The question, for me, (and I’m being vaguely serious!), would Rudiger have fallen down like that, under that “level” of contact, if it wasn’t in the 93rd minute of a game where his team desperately needed something?? I’d bet at least 3 Mars Bars he wouldn’t have…
