Yeh we weren’t great today, but a very good point. As I said before the game, Nunez has been poor starting games away from home. I also think we sacrifice other players like Salah who I think ends up more wide and we lose a flow to our attacking game for me. But had Nunez come on later in the game when the game loosened up a bit, he could have had more success with his pace to stretch City.

Don’t think either team played well enough to warrant all three points – City marginally better as the stats prove.
Missed two good chances at the start of the second half which, had we taken one, would have been enough.
Having watched it again, having got back home, really don’t the Dias goal should have been disallowed. To my mind Akanji jumped with Alisson (not into), having initially been pushed by him; yes, he had his hand on his shoulder but never enough to send Alisson tumbling – very weak ‘keeping by Alisson. Refs still giving any benefit to the keepers. I’m sure if the goal had been given on field, VAR wouldn’t have overruled._____________________________

Donβt get me wrong nil, absolutely delighted with a point. Just thought we looked very sluggish which is understandable after international break. Alisson and jota probs gone for a while now aswell.
Giblues, ye if the ref didnβt give that then I think itβs a goal. Worst Iβve seen Alisson play for us-in a longtime.
Thought the bsck 4 were excellent except for the city goal.

I just did an online search on Endo and saw negative reviews of how we played commented by fans and maybe I’m easily pleased today. It’s clear we are short of a natural holding defensive midfield player and somebody clinical to find the net.
Matip really held us. Not sure what Van Dijk gives us anymore. Allison takes the weight on his shoulders sometimes and then feels it. Bless him. Worried for him his hamstring could be serious and may need Kelleher on board.

Of course one can try and attack the ball from a corner, but not to elbow or rest an arm on the keeper to gain an advantage and inflict infringement which in my eyes is what happened. Easy tap in, nobody else there so I just don’t think that should be allowed.
Anyway, draw the right result.
