Was that a long 12 days? It’s dragged but work during the daytime has otherwise deflected away the thought of waiting 😉
Well, we shall find out for sure first up whether or not those individuals reported of injuries of Man City will recover and be ready for the Top Of The Table Heavyweight clash at the Ethiad.
Toughest away visit undoubtedly for Liverpool and even to come away with a Point would be a Positive.
Looking at the fixtures overall for this weekend, there is a level of interest on every team whoever is playing purely on the basis of how competitive and strong the league is plus the unpredictability. No foregone conclusion.
Looking forward to Brentford-Arsenal
Spurs-Villa will be interesting and I think it should be a home win.
Everton-Man United and Everton’s first match since the 10 point deduction. United can’t really afford another defeat.
All the newly-promoted teams play at home and I believe could be wins.
League Table could look interesting, indeed 🙂

24th November 2023 at 1:01 pm #210906Thibk city will win easily enough as we are terrible after international breaks
Can see city really ramping up and running away with the league now

24th November 2023 at 2:58 pm #210907Haaland has been in a training session today it has been reported, but will need to get through another and of course a fitness test before he is passed fit I think he’ll be on the bench.
Can’t see Ederson featuring. Whatever the line up, still a tough game. We need to be READY.

24th November 2023 at 6:18 pm #210908Didn’t realise Liverpool had such a poor record at the Etihad. Can’t see City dropping any points to be honest here. Never know what to think with us. Picking up points in the league ut unconvincingly. Just glad it’s back!
Liverpool have not won at Man City in the Premier League in over eight years 😮
And @robbiesavage8 is backing Man City to come out on top again – and continue their "unstoppable" run to the title 🏆https://t.co/Jae0dLAVU6 pic.twitter.com/g9lctsO0wp

24th November 2023 at 7:02 pm #210909Yeh draw probably best result we can hope for. Think with both teams playing expansive football both teams tend to be strong at home with the crowd behind them when playing each other.

24th November 2023 at 8:18 pm #210910If I’m completely frank, we’re 3 players short of where we want to be. I’d add Firmino and Mane to that which illustrates a reality check for where I feel we are given we’re in transition.
Man-marking, discipline in staying where you are, doing your job in resisting for 100 minutes will be a tough task.
Still, if Nunez is lacing up and on it like a bonnet then….. 🙂

25th November 2023 at 8:16 am #210911A point be like a win! Just can’t see us getting anything as city are just formidable at home. You look at how strong all over the pitch they are. Their spine is so strong
As nil says, we are a few players away from challenging. All about top 4 for us. The full backs today are a worry. Space behind Trent when he steps inside and tmikas is just riddled with mistakes. I’d play Gomez left full. Also macallaister at 6 is a concern.
We will need to play out of our skin to get anything.

25th November 2023 at 8:18 am #210912That’s it Ed. Utd have been getting the wins without preying well. Now a few players are coming back . I thibk they will beat Everton by one goal. They then have a few tough games. It’s going to be very interesting to see we’re everyone is by stsrt of jan. I fully expect city to be running away with it by then

25th November 2023 at 9:03 am #210913Morning Sean, if we do come away without defeat, it would be a great result for us.
Looks like there’s movement behind the scenes for players. Love Klopp and there’s no way he’s giving up this MK 2 Liverpool he wants to build. I didn’t realize he was 56. If we’re up there by Christmas, it’s good. Realistically our target was to get back in the Champions League, but equally, I’d love a Title shot.

25th November 2023 at 12:43 pm #210914Not really got going. Need to be careful at the back. Alisson nearly paying for his mistake.

25th November 2023 at 1:16 pm #210921I always turn the commentary off because there’s too much nonsense.
Lots of good chances being missed by both.
Just no way the score can stay like this.
Close by Foden. Excellent save.

25th November 2023 at 1:20 pm #210922Difference has been between the 2 strikers, but I thought after the City goal, Liverpool grew. Brilliant technical ability but just lacking aggression and somebody to get a foothold of the ball and boss it.
Man City are trying to channel everything through Doku. I think Grealish would have been more of a threat, Tsimikas has been comfortable down the left.
Still in it only been 1 goal down.

25th November 2023 at 1:21 pm #210923Just slightly disappointed by the Ref, but it’s been a flowing game and one of little controversy with both sets of players showing respect for each other.

25th November 2023 at 1:28 pm #210924Haven’t even noticed the ref which usually means he’s having a good game.
What controversy do you mean Nil?
