I would prefer some sort of a Leeds result from this, though on paper, a Chelsea win.

5th December 2020 at 10:16 pm #171528Mak, re the funny noises, I think the fans were jeering lorente every time he got ball like fans do when a certain player rubs them up wrong way, it just because only 2000 fans in 40000 stadium it sounded way different, I thought they spotted ric flair in the stands for a minute, WOOOO!

5th December 2020 at 10:47 pm #171531Lucky, tough game as expected, thankfully Chelsea have effectively got no game this mid week having already won our CL Group.
We have played away in 3 consecutive CL games one in deepest Russia with all the travel to those away games which takes its toll and playing every Saturday after those CL games too.
So we can pretty much rest everyone and play a scratch side perhaps bolstered by some of our top Academy players.π
Certainly we’ll almost certainly see the return of Billy the Kid.

5th December 2020 at 11:00 pm #171533Yeah nine it’s a nice position to be in, good run of games coming up too so hopefully we still amongst the front runners come the new year.
Delighted with 3 points today, just hope ziyech will be OK and back training in a few days

6th December 2020 at 3:19 am #171534Good run of games coming up as in plenty in a short period of time I’m thinking.
Everton away, Wolves away, West Ham home, Arsenal away, Villa home.
If we win all of those then we are going to be in a good position for sure. A few banana skins in there though I think, the next two in particular. Top of the table going into the new year would be awesome π

6th December 2020 at 8:40 am #171535Looks like a tough run of games to me but there again there are no easy games in the PL.
Fortunately although the League Cup is a nice trophy to win we don’t have to worry about any League Cup games now or the CL until February.
Chelsea fans need to just enjoy some of the football we’re playing and try to remember we’re still a work in progress team with a rookie Manager and who is building a team for the next 5 years and beyond and whilst Chelsea are going very much in the right direction currently I’m sure they’ll be some bumps along the road to come.
However the future looks bright the future looks blue!π

6th December 2020 at 8:49 am #171537The games between utd, Chelsea, spurs, city abd liveroool are going to have a massive day in who wins the league
You look at how strong Chelseaβs squad is in and they are very much going to be there or these shouts in may
Silva was a brilliant signing. One of the best defenders in the world for the last decade. Perfect captain. A real leader
Bruno is utds go to man. He gets injured abd it be a huge blow. Great player and most importantly, a real team player. Itβs always about the team with him

6th December 2020 at 9:05 am #171539This is why people get pissed off. Chidwell catches the Leeds guy , he doesnβt go down and no pen??? Did var review it? Itβs a challenge exactly like Robertson last week??
So if reds donβt give them then who can blame players for diving?
Ridiculous

6th December 2020 at 9:49 am #171540hear what you say Sean.
Thought I’d check it out on Google and the definition of a foul in football is : A foul is an unfair act by a player, deemed by the referee to contravene the game’s laws, that interferes with the active play of the game. Fouls are punished by the award of a free kick (possibly a penalty kick) to the opposing team.
Clearly therefore the player doesn’t necessarily have to lose footing/fall over for a free kick or penalty to be given. That had never really crossed my mind. Good point.

6th December 2020 at 11:22 am #171542Lucky, no worries buddie I get where you’re coming from.π
Shame about Ziyech looks like it’s a hamstring which usually means 2 to 6 weeks out depending on the severity of it on the positive side it will give Pulasic a run of games now which is what he needs.

6th December 2020 at 11:39 am #1715431957, cheers mate . Itβs common sense. If a player gets fouled abd doesnβt go down then the ref has to give it. Now you have to go down to get a pen.
Exactly nine. What a replacement for Ziyech in pulasic . Love watching pulasic play. Very exciting player
