Blaze
We are not nice to watch and struggle to shoot at goal let alone score
Harder to beat but once a team scores against us itβs game over
Home or awayWe need some big performances snd results ideally with lots of goals but I donβt see it happening this season

29th November 2020 at 12:48 pm #171139AnonymousPoint taken Steveo and Sean. I have lost my mind over 2 recent games and maybe just need to turn it off next time and do something else.
Sean/Nine, Klopp definitely has some blame to shoulder with regards to not replacing Lovren. He’s very sensitive to the press bringing this up and pretty much any topics lately. Where is the affable Klopp that the media loves? He’s been turning salty now for quite a while and maybe it’s something we need to worry about? Maybe he’s burning out. Or maybe it’s just a phase and he’ll get back to being a bit more relaxed with the press.
It doesn’t help that they constantly ask leading questions of course but I’ve seen quite a few times where Klopp has given a salty response to ma very generic and inert question.
As for our injuries, ya and add Milner to the list. It really is a big problem now but when we start getting some back, we’ll manage the fixtures a lot better. I guess Tsimikas will be starting our next game. If Thiago comes back soon, that’ll be the chance to rest Gini too and you’re right, he really needs it.

29th November 2020 at 12:56 pm #171140Mak, donβt be too hard on Klopp, injuries, timings and VAR decisions are things that have happened all at once, add to that the weight of expectation and the current global situation and then add journalists angling for a controversial response very shortly after a game to get the headline they want. As with everything itβs a learning experience, Iβm sure weβll see a return to the more measured and enthusiastic Klopp in the coming weeks…..Pagan

29th November 2020 at 1:50 pm #171146AnonymousDidnt mean to come across harsh, I’ve never respected anyone at Liverpool more than I do Klopp. Just some things I’ve observed. I tend to avoid his press conferences most times, except post match stuff, which you’re dead right about BTW, they are still going to be emotional about the match when they are asked to essentially explain where it went wrong and such… Not easy for sure.

29th November 2020 at 1:59 pm #171147Mak…I thinkPagan is right, however, it is not so much about Klopp but the Media sensing an “angle” to pursue. Pep has had this for some time now as well. Anything for a headline, does not matter if they do not know the real story why things happen. Klopp will make mistakes just like Pep but both are too good at there job that they will not find a way to work through whatever. I also hate pundits with there retrospective :science” backed up with all kinds of charts as to where players could have done better or otherwise. They forget…football is an art form. NOT science

29th November 2020 at 2:35 pm #171148AnonymousWoah, Southampton are 2 up. They really are making a go of it this season and to do this after losing Ings, is kinda remarkable. Most of the game to go of course…

29th November 2020 at 2:39 pm #171149Off subject, but watched the start of the F1, absolutely horrendous crash, car ripped in half and caught fire, amazingly the driver has walked away from it with whatβs being reported as minor burns to wrists and ankles….Pagan

29th November 2020 at 2:44 pm #171150Easy for the commentator to express “United all over the shop”. It’s a faster game than ever and that’s Southampton on the counter. Unless you stay back constantly and don’t push forward, there’s likely-hood in being out of position.
In context and in fairness, the Saints have been good this first half and deserve their lead.

29th November 2020 at 2:56 pm #171151Indeed Pagan, rarely do you see the very strong modern F1 cars ripped in half like that. Worst impact I’ve seen since Senna that.

29th November 2020 at 2:56 pm #171152Solksjaer should play the CL music before league games in the Utd dressing room.

29th November 2020 at 3:55 pm #171156Even non-United fans would be full of admiration. That was Brilliant – Cavani!
What a turnaround. Saints just haven’t pushed on from their 2 goal lead – maybe a lack of belief.

29th November 2020 at 3:58 pm #171158AnonymousYa that’s experience Nile. Southampton aren’t used to smashing teams consistently, so they will have these drop offs. Of course more quality in their side wouldnt hurt.
Congrats to the Utd lads anyway.

29th November 2020 at 4:39 pm #171162I canβt work out Man Utd & Solksjaer at the moment. Would anyone do better with this squad? Thereβs clearly still something there and the players are clearly playing for him. Best now to keep him there until the end of the season and give a new man money then?
