Brilliant comeback from Utd. As you say Mikus, it’s so difficult to know what to think as a Utd fan. We’ve now won 8 away league games in a row under Ole. Ferguson only ever managed 7 in a row.
It’s strange but I know that he’s not the man to take us forward but he keeps pulling these results out of the bag when you least expect it. The problem is we then have an “easy” home game and are just awful again. You just can’t be sure Utd will win the games we absolutely should. He should have never been given the permanent job but he’s sticking around for now at least. Still, he’ll need to win something or show significant signs of progress or he’ll be gone at the end of the season, if not sooner. I’d love to be wrong, though.
Crazy to think we’d be level on with Chelsea if we win our game in hand against Burnley.
One thing’s for sure, whatever happens at Utd, we’re in much better shape than Arsenal who are as spineless as they’ve ever been post Wenger.
Mourinho will be absolutely delighted with 4 points from City and Chelsea.

29th November 2020 at 8:43 pm #171199Where do Arsenal go from here, though? Would someone like Bielsa want one last go at a big job? Allegri is surely now just waiting to take a job like the Arsenal one. Surely Poch wouldn’t go there? As much as he’s not the most attacking coach, I think Allegri would be the best bet for them, personally.

29th November 2020 at 8:47 pm #171201I said it at the time, but giving Arteta such a big job as his first ever job in management was madness. A massive gamble that’s taken them backwards

29th November 2020 at 8:51 pm #171202I think Arteta is completely winging it at the moment.

29th November 2020 at 9:13 pm #171204It was admittedly Refreshing to watch Ed. I wasn’t convinced on Saints holding on to their 2 goal lead as much as I’d have like them to haha :-D.
I honestly though did sense a Man United comeback. Flipping Ek, Well Done! π
‘Confession’ to having Fernandes in my Team and he’s delivered me Points π
Couple of Saturday’s time, the Manchester Derby π

This is by far the most evenly placed League Table I’ve ever seen purely in relation to the Top Flight.
Nobody’s to blame and nobody should beat themselves. No ‘Lip Service’ Prefixed; it Really Is What It Is.
All Good π

29th November 2020 at 9:23 pm #171207What’s he actually done to deserve more time or get the job in the first place though Sean? The FA Cup was a bit of a freak win, like Di Matteo’s CL win with Chelsea. I hope they do give him more time to be honest. There’s always a risk they become a threat again if they get a proper manager in.

Just think if heβs in there give him a bit more time but I can understand what you mean
No real progress is there and they really are horrible to watch. Nothing going forward

29th November 2020 at 9:31 pm #171209Ed they gone backwards under arteta plain to see at least before they could attack, worst arsenal I ever seen.
Also congrats on the comeback, classy cavani that winning header was perfection, hope Tammy watches on MOTD! Remember reading tammy was gutted we didn’t sign cavani last January when there were rumours of talks. Like giroud he will offer that front line some vital experience and class. I think ole and lamps need to make the most of them and to be honest I wanted giroud to start for us today.

29th November 2020 at 9:36 pm #171210Yeah Cavani is looking a much more inspired signing than I thought. I’ve always rated him but I thought he was pretty much finished at the top level. Doesn’t look to be the case though.

29th November 2020 at 9:39 pm #171212Bit like the Ibrahimovic signing Ed. Gives you some star quality back, and on a free transfer.

29th November 2020 at 9:56 pm #171214Looking that way Mikus. Honestly thought we’d got ourselves another Falcao rather than another Zlatan. Let’s see though. Plenty of the season still to go. He needs managing well considering his age
