1st November 2024 at 11:00 am #216265Yes, this is like a countdown now of making the most of the next 10 days or so because you know what is around the corner for yet another 2 weeks.
Some really good matches to look forward too. If I was a betting person, I would be more inclined to go against than for what looks winnable on paper.
The matches on Sunday really do look interesting. Definitely a few upset on the cards, you can bank on that! π

1st November 2024 at 11:39 am #216267It would be a brave man who predicts Sunday’s results, that’s for sure. Injuries, part-time managers, and a wobbly form book for all concerned would make the Mystic Megs among us keep our Monster Munch firmly in our trousers…
Wouldn’t mind watching the Sat Lunch time too… the Bone Saw Boyz, much like my boys could really do with the points before the gap to the top 4 starts getting larger than the skidmarks of Buffy’s pants!

1st November 2024 at 1:12 pm #216280Some cracking games there.
Think we will draw tomorrow
Brighton have surprised me a bit and mitoma and welbeck will cause us problems

1st November 2024 at 5:09 pm #216288Sean, you may well be right mate; no easy ride and Brighton will give as good as they get. They should get the respect they deserve. I am liking Jaros; what a fine back-up Keeper. We should have some fresh players to play tomorrow.
Looking forward to the 3pm kick off.

2nd November 2024 at 7:15 am #216298Brighton gave us a decent game at home last season too, but I expect us to edge them out
Slot has got this team well set up and I think a few injuries has helped him find his system and line up – Iβm just not sure on kelleher or Jaros being good enough
Nice to play at 3pm on a Saturday – can wait to get there

2nd November 2024 at 8:41 am #216301Good to see you back posting Beni. Hope youβre well.
Some very good games this weekend. Reckon Newcastle could take some points off Arsenal. Fancy a draw there. City should have too much for Bournemouth. Would like to see Ipswich get their first win after the job McKenna has done there and I fancy them today. I think Liverpool will be too strong at home for Brighton. Spurs Villa should be a home win. No idea for our match. Hopefully still riding high on the new manager bounce which could see us do enough.

2nd November 2024 at 9:16 am #216302Good to hear from you beni chum!
Ah i think kelliher could even be our number one. He is an excellent keeper.
Really tough game today.
Some real crackers on. Think arsenal might just have to much for newcastle and tey scrape a 1-0

2nd November 2024 at 11:31 am #216305Cheers Sean
I lost a lot of confidence in him after Arsenal, I donβt think he commanded the box and shouldnβt have let saka best him on his near post
Will be a good game today

Dunno if the out will change Sean. Newcastle seem on top of this and don’t look like they’ll let up.

2nd November 2024 at 2:35 pm #216312I just donβt think Arsenal are an extraordinary side or have enough world class ability to win the big trophies.

2nd November 2024 at 2:36 pm #216314That’s points dropped in 5 of their 10 league games… and I still think they were fortunate to not drop points in theur game against us…
Still a long way to go but I reckon we’re looking at a two horse race, which doesn’t include those donkeys.

2nd November 2024 at 3:37 pm #216317How many decent chances have Brighton had to extend their lead?? Theyβre going to be kicking themselves is they drop points from here..

2nd November 2024 at 3:51 pm #216318Take Nunez off, put Gakpo or Salah as a Centre Forward and bring on Diaz.
We need depth in Midfield. Zobo needs to come off too. Brighton defending really well, but we have been sloppy. The basics have been average and not really threatening.

2nd November 2024 at 3:53 pm #216319Ah brighton should be at least 3-0 up banjo
I said all along our clean sheets were not a true reflection of our defending. We have been awful and cant see us getting bsvk into as so similar to forest.
Trent ducking out of 50/50s. Terrible passing from everyone.
