Having time to process this all in, can’t belief this will be taken to the final day.
I get to see the PL Trophy with half a Red Ribbon on it haha π
Just read this article; it would be sensational if this was to happen:

5th May 2019 at 12:58 pm #39940Ok compelled to correct Chubby Mc…. whatever he calls himself…
I think all 4 English teams are still in for making the European finals. Great chance of Europa trophy βcoming homeβ and if Spurs find the courage they showed in the second half against Ajax, with Son back, they can definitely beat them!
Liverpool is an interesting one. No doubt as Mak says, LFC and Spurs have built squads over the last few years by selling and buying well whilst bringing through their own talent and training their squads to understand the managers desire. Different to the outlays shown in the net spend table by City, Utd and Chelsea.
Take Kane, Firminho, Son, Gomez, Ox Chamberlin long term out of squads and it leaves bigger gaps than Cityβs purchase of 2 first teams…_____________________________

5th May 2019 at 1:13 pm #39942Contrary to McChubbies Spurs myopia I still think LFC are in with a good chance of doing something truly remarkable at a fanatical Anfield on Tuesday. A goal to Liverpool in the first half and it should allow an incredible slug fest which rarely happens at the top level.
As for Mc… credibility at viewing Liverpool as only Seventies team utterly undermines his credibility. Bitter nonsence buddy?!!
If Spurs or any other team had this history:Football League First Division (18 titles)
1900β01, 1905β06, 1921β22, 1922β23, 1946β47, 1963β64, 1965β66, 1972β73, 1975β76, 1976β77, 1978β79, 1979β80, 1981β82, 1982β83, 1983β84, 1985β86, 1987β88, 1989β90European Cup (5 times)
1977 (Rome), 1978 (London), 1981 (Paris), 1984 (Rome), 2005 (Istanbul)UEFA Cup (3 wins)
1973, 1976, 2001 (Dortmund)
The 1973 and 76 finals were played over two legs.European Super Cup (3 wins)
1977 (Hamburg), 2001 (Monaco), 2005 (Monaco)FA Cup (7 wins)
1965, 1974, 1986, 1989, 1992, 2001, 2006League Cup (8 wins)
1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1995, 2001, 2003, 2012Charity Shield/Community Shield (15 wins)
1964*, 1965*, 1966, 1974, 1976, 1977*, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1986*, 1988, 1989, 1990*, 2001, 2006Not counting Champions League finals in 2018,2007 Europa final in 2016 and currently with a game to go in the league with 94points.
If your jealousy allows you to overlook the pride this team has brought the UK or how special at European night at Anfield has been on numerous occasions then simply donβt watch this Tuesday.
However, most true football fans will watch this along with the other matches this week and if Salah and Firminho are available then with that special Stadium, anything could happen and I for one canβt wait…._____________________________

5th May 2019 at 1:29 pm #39943Fantastic post Mick illustrating Liverpool’s factual history of achievements. This is what we as supporters have strived for year after year and why we are desperate to add to what we already have in Honours.
Cheers

5th May 2019 at 3:36 pm #39950tba, it’s all gone wrong for Ole since he was confirmed Manager.I do quite like the fact tho that Neville tells it like he sees it re United. Best pundit on TV imo.

5th May 2019 at 3:48 pm #39952Utd been a bit unlucky in the last 10 mins but Huddersfield are really very poor. Even if Utd win OGS cant be happy with this.

5th May 2019 at 3:58 pm #39960AnonymousI liked Neville at first but he’s talked an awful lot of shite recently. He’s quickly eroding the respect I’d developed for him.
If I’m honest, there are very few pundits who’s opinions I respect. Ex players seem to know very little about the sport that they were fantastic at playing in.
It’s that plus them flexing their opinions to suit the people paying them. I would just love some honesty.

5th May 2019 at 4:04 pm #39963Most are OK except when covering their team. Carra is the worst with Hoddle a close second.

5th May 2019 at 4:09 pm #39964Adlab, yeah that’s a big beef of mine personally I wouldn’t let any of them cover their own Clubs. Hoddle last week kept refering to Spurs as we but away from Spurs games he makes a lot of sense. Jermaine Jenas co commenting on Spurs has been ridiculous.

5th May 2019 at 4:09 pm #39965AnonymousMak , to be honest Gary Neville said what a load of Utd fans probably feel , I don’t blame him, if an ex-player of Spurs said we were crap I would agree .
