We need to talk about Hugo: Lloris’ mistakes are a problem Tottenham must confront

6th May 2019 at 4:13 pm #40093Would that be the Lloris who picked up the World Cup last year? π
(He plays for Spuds so it counts!)

6th May 2019 at 5:07 pm #40099AnonymousLiverpool V newcastle told us whether or not it would be taken to the final day of the season. This match tonight tells us who is the overwhelming favourite. Lose points here, city… and watch Liverpool rest the entire team versus Barca.

6th May 2019 at 6:30 pm #40108Yeah kind of expecting that way too realistically like a 4-0 win (City). I’m not giving hope completely, but it’s almost as if I’m setting myself for disappointment. There are so many going back as far as March where I though City might slip up, but they just haven’t.
Equally with us, I always thought we’d draw the Chelsea and Spurs games at home and Southampton and Newcastle away. We’ve done exceptionally well to take it to the final day and that hasn’t happened for us since 30 years ago playing that dramatic game against Arsenal at Anfield. At least we’ve given ourselves a chance and I’m sure it makes it interesting for the Neutrals to have those split-screens on Sky.

6th May 2019 at 6:38 pm #40111Mak, I’m not sure how that would pan out in terms of our Team selection for Tomorrow night if Leicester was to miraculously thwart Man City.
Salah and Firmino already ruled out. Sturridge looks short of confidence so then who does Klopp go with? Shaqiri and Mane? Could Ox come back in the fold?
I don’t know what players could be rested as people like Lovren haven’t stepped it up. Lallana is a decent impact player. Origi for the whole of 90 mins, I’m not so sure.
I’d like for us to give it our all Tomorrow as 3 goals isn’t the end of the world.

6th May 2019 at 7:19 pm #40115Very strong Manchester City line up – wouldn’t bet against a goal scored inside 3 minutes. Could be a thumping 6-0 victory.

6th May 2019 at 7:22 pm #40116If we win tonight I think Klopp will write off the Barca match and rest one or two key players.
If we win tonight we could still slip up at Brighton who have no pressure as they showed v Arsenal.Pity we are without KDB and Fernandinho yet again. If KDB had been fit as last season I honestly think we would have won it by now BUT he isnt there so who knows?
