30th April 2023 at 6:29 pm #206619Classic finish, spurs come from 3 down to equalise in stoppage time then concede the winner 30 seconds later!
Brilliant stuff π π

30th April 2023 at 6:37 pm #206622Well, many of the ingredients we’ve had for our success are still there this season. But we just can’t maintain control or concentration for the full 90 minutes of a game has cost us dearly over the season. And that’s the story of this season.
Desperate now for some control in midfield and some new defenders too.

30th April 2023 at 6:52 pm #206624That’s the story of our season Mikus. Too hit and miss. Hard to imagine those scorelines and performances against Bournemouth and Man United.

30th April 2023 at 7:02 pm #206625I think the tactical tweaks and return of some players has helped our recent “resurgence”. But as I say, we still lack the players to control a game. Got to sort that out in the summer.

30th April 2023 at 10:49 pm #206627Was Skipp lucky with his over the ball, studs up, challenge on Diaz? Casemiro sent off for less which was apparently a clear red card.
Jota looked very high on Skipp and no red card either. Then scores the winner. Canβt help but think that if that was another team more would be made of that.

1st May 2023 at 5:00 pm #206629Lucky, it’s dangerous territory mate. I love my Manager, but he shouldn’t really approaching this in this manner. It’s unprofessional. There’s not much difference between this and Rafa’s extract back in 2009.
People will just laugh and make a mockery of us. I don’t like Paul Tierney, but surely there’s ways to channel and challenge this properly.

1st May 2023 at 5:40 pm #206631Just watched the Sonos edits of Jota’s goal. So grateful for that winner, WOW! Just a Treasure when we have all our attack fit and firing. Carvalho can’t even get minutes. We need a new center half and a right-back make no mistake and 2 solid midfielders to get us back on track next season.

1st May 2023 at 7:10 pm #206632Release the audio, or a transcript from it and go from there. If Klopp has lied regarding what was said he needs to be punished. If the ref has said something out or order he should be punished too.

2nd May 2023 at 1:06 pm #206633Thiago of Chelsea was a midfielder not a defender Nil. You are thinking of Carvalho who played alongside Terry.

The FA set the bar recently with the punishment handed out to Mitrovic
Klopp should be looking at a lengthy ban of a similar period imo.You can’t do that to the officals.
end of.I see Pgmol have said Tierney didn’t say anything untoward to JK.So like you say they should release the audio.Whoever found guilty should be dealt with as such

2nd May 2023 at 2:42 pm #206636Not sure it’s on a level with Mitrovic. Mitrovic physically handled the ref and was very aggressive towards him after being shown a red, refusing to leave the pitch.
Klopp is just a bit of a twat at times. His comments regarding the alleged improper actions of the ref deserves a ban if found to be incorrect, which reading about what he now says “the ref thought it was a red card, and I didn’t think it was a red card” is just ridiculous. How can he say the ref acted improperly!? That is obviously ignoring that this is untrue as well as he was shown only a yellow card.
Hard to control your emotions at times, but he needs coaching on how to handle himself when things go mildly against him – as they will do in football – as he acts like a big baby at times. I know all managers can, but he seems to take the biscuit. Very lucky to get away with lots of stuff prior to this as well, so it’s not a one off.
