Luton fans were great last night. Away fans in general are a special bunch any way as they follow their teams all over the country, but when you support such an underdog the away support is so crucial. If Luton go down, and I am 99% certain they will, the Luton fans can hold their heads high.
P.s, Hadn’t been to games for years until last season and I am very impressed by how civil home and away fans are around the stadium before and after games. Even when we were getting smashed by teams last year, and opposition fans were walking down Fulham Road giving it large, everyone is just so accepting of it. Give a thumbs up you get a smile, put out a fist you get a fist bump.
I have not seen one fight or even any commotion needing the police. The police just stand guard with their gorgeous horses and everyone feels safe.
I suppose its only later at night once more drinks are consumed that any trouble occurs?
Anyway, I was only planning on attending home games but from what I can see, you would most likely needing to be looking for a fight to find one. I think I will look at some away games over next few months.

Even if Utd come back, there are obviously big concerns at the club. Just so casual at times. Also De Gea was arguably one of their best players in recent years so to ditch him in favour of a more ball playing keeper – that has to work quickly or else you’re going to put big pressure on yourself.

Is there a pattern now emerging with all this ball playing from the back that the smaller teams just aren’t afraid anymore of the bigger teams and if you’re aggressive against them, you’ll reap the rewards easily. Liverpool were close to being 2 down at Bournemouth early on last week.

Lucky. The best team will win the league its as simple as that. I can understand why others wouldn’t want us to win it again. Fair enough but it’s the TV promoting Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham all the time. What about Nottingham, Sheffield, Wolves, Everton Brentford, Brighton etc .They just get a cursory glance.

Wow, big ask, but if Fulham pull this off. Can’t see it happening as I predicted a clean sheet out of that game as opposed to both teams to score. There goes my bet!

Mikus. Agreed. The “smaller teams ” Are finding a way to counter playing out from the back. I think that’s one of the reasons we have purchased a pacey winger.

Mikus, my biggest bug-bear tactically is the high-line. Looks like something that’s catching on to other teams. I think that’s counter-acted by teams that will press high up so all discipline is out of the window.

Adlab, I don’t see it that way mate. imo media coverage of a club has pretty much always been directly proportional to the size of the fan base of a club. I have never been confused or upset that utd and pool generally get more coverage than chelsea because it makes sense.
