Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy for some π
Chelsea v Luton Town, Friday Night; should be a bag full of goals.
Bournemouth v Spurs and Brighton v West Ham, the 2 lunch time games.
Should be on course for Maximum points as far as Arsenal and and Brighton go.
Could Sheff United cause an upset at Bramall Lane on Sunday when they face Treble Winners Manchester City.
Tough tough game for Liverpool at Newcastle and maybe a draw there. Should be victory for Man United at Old Trafford playing Forest.
This and next week left to enjoy before we head into the dreaded international break!

25th August 2023 at 8:52 am #208723True Sean ππ». Last weekend I never seen anything like it. There used to be such a good understanding between Van Dijk and Alisson. Matip is missed.β½οΈ

25th August 2023 at 10:13 am #208725Not the hardest game on paper for us Spuds, but it’s played on grass and we put the Spurs in Spursy… small concern about Wee Jimmy playing, although Lo Cecil had a decent pre-season anyway so not too worried. More worried about whether Richy has found his shooting boots yet… should be 3 points, but let’s see!!
Hoping for a Pool win, mainly because I want the Bone Saw Boyz to lose… π
Not really expecting too many surprises in the other games…
So, what about all this chatter about Mo buggering off to the Al-Bundy Farmers League? Going to be a big wedge for sure but will you have time to spend it? Let’s be honest, going to be bloody hard for him to turn down the reported 180 million a year… (which is double the entire leagues turnover in 2022, what’s Arabic for Financial Fair Play?)

25th August 2023 at 10:37 am #208726So, Salah on 180m, RonnyII on 175m, Naymar on 130m and Henderson on 35m a year… that’s 520m a year in salaries for 4 players in a League that turned over 90m combined in the 2022 season… let that sink in…

25th August 2023 at 7:20 pm #208728So many results looked nailed on but it rarely works out that way. We could easily lose at Sheffield without Pep . I quite fancy Liverpool at Newcastle if they get the team working.
Other results to go as one would predict

25th August 2023 at 10:47 pm #208735Chucks, yours was kinda tricky to call. Those guys were up for it at Anfield. We were weirding ourselves out. I dont think it was flattery. Maybe there’s fire there from the Cherries.
New Test all in all my good friend β½οΈπ―ππ»

26th August 2023 at 1:49 pm #208744I think Richarlison will beat Haaland to the Golden Boot……He’s a petulant baby. Useless.

26th August 2023 at 2:50 pm #208748Just watching Sky build up. Have I missed something or are Arsenal the only team in the League.
The London bias just gets more pathetic. Why should anyone else bother playing. But they did win the Community Shield.
Plus they’ve spent something like Β£200m. Will they be referred to as “big spending Arsenal ” I doubt it. Nothing against them as a club or team it’s the ridiculous reporting Anybody mentioning how the collapsed under pressure last year? I doubt it._____________________________

26th August 2023 at 2:56 pm #208749Adlab, the whole country would rather see arsenal win it than city to win it again. Get used to it bud, its nothing against the North.
