If it turns out like the UEFA situation where they get off on a technicality, or they are as “innocent” as O.J. Simpson. Then the rest of the PL should refuse to play them. Forfeit every single PL match against them. Do this until their owners sell the entirety of the club.

You know what, Chuckly. That is a much better solution. I think the PL can sanction clubs who don’t play strong teams without good reason but would they do it to m19 PL sides?

Of course, would all 19 clubs stick together on it? Probably not TBH.

If the PL are unable to protect the league then it will become a “drastic situation calls for drastic measures”.

Because the injury is so minor that he’ll be able to play in the quarter-finals, if they get through.

I know you want him to be loyal to Liverpool first but he’s a proud man who seems to really care for his people. I don’t think we have any right to be annoyed with him for not throwing int he towel and heading back to Liverpool.

Granted I have zero interest in AFCON. We should limit signing players in future of this ilk. It’s been a bit of an issue for me, but hey hoh, sods law and all that.

We’re been one of the clubs the way I see it for virtually 2 seasons with a long injury list. Gets frustrating after a while.
