Week Winter Break

I only watched bits of the end but ya, I’m not shocked about another team playing better football than us, cause Liverpool are not really playing eye-catching football.
It’s not totally unlike the year we won the PL. We played more attractive and seemingly dominant football in other seasons but when we won the title, it never seemed like any team could threaten us.
If it weren’t for covid, we obviously would have broken Citys record. When we came back from, that break, it was all over and the performances really showed that we were in some kind of post-season mode.

It doesn’t matter to most but that really annoyed me because we were on the verge of truly legendary stuff that no team (even City) could ever match.
Ya, we won the PL and that was great but we did it in such a shit manner.

What I see now is kinda like a less capable version of that. I’m less convinced but this but I am pretty sure that I was, complaining about our endless run of single-goal margin victories. I always felt that it was going to come back and haunt us…. I am a Liverpool fan, so I think this is a fair worry.

Thing is waspy, we haven’t been playing too badly over the last 8-10 games, certainly feel like we deserved more points than we got during that period, and certainly think we beat ourselves more than the oppo’s beat use.

YooUtd are the new Spuds (blowing hot and cold)… they’re very capably of beating us, especially at home, but if we find our shooting boats it could be a drubbing the other way. At least, according to reports, we’ll actually be playing CB’s at Cb rather than the dubious pairing of Royal and Davies…

Fancy a 3-2 but don’t want to guess who to!

Kylie -Fully expect Spuds to win today despite them missing so many players,if they don’t beat us,then they don’t deserve to be in this title race.Much rather have Kulusevski than all our wingers, and Richarlison upfront is better than all our strikers.Our midfield is more open than Kylie’s and Jordans legs, so very easy to penetrate -pun intended!
