Some interesting subs there for the Goonies.. Rice has to be injured…
And now VAR are involved… hmm… don’t want to call that one… handball but accidental I think.. to close to “move” out the way in time…

24th September 2023 at 3:51 pm #209713That was far less of a pen than the penalty we werenโt awarded against the same player a few weeks ago!
Arms out, makes himself as wide as possible. Very close distance though.
The one we should have had was arms out and a lot further away. VAR needs to get their act together.

24th September 2023 at 4:07 pm #209715You know what, I reckong that’s 2 points dropped for us Spuds… apart from their press for the first 30 minutes I thought the Goonies were a lot better than that… huge slice of luck for both thier goals, less possession, less passes, and 19-18 in attempts at goal…
If we’re expecting the Goonies and Micky Mousers to challenge the Sports Washing Campaign, then I think we can certaily take the Goonies of that list.
As for my Spuds, nobody gave us much of a chance, and I think we were the better side after those first 30 minutes… we most certainly were not embarressed by a “superior” team as many were prediciting.

24th September 2023 at 4:22 pm #209717Called 2-2 (or 2-3 ๐). Another result that helps cement Angeโs credentials at Spurs for me.
Good win for us. Attacking wise weโre looking back close to our best after last season.
As for Chelsea & Utd. Just donโt get why these clubs have effectively decided to go on โjourneysโ by bringing in young players for the future. Clubs like that should be building for the now. And good players for the now donโt necessarily cost the earth.

24th September 2023 at 4:35 pm #209718Oh Buffy, were art thou?
Be interesting to hear your thoughts on the game (the polite ones at any rate!).
Micky, we certainly were not played of the park by a supposed superior team, that’s for sure!

24th September 2023 at 4:40 pm #209720Is this a record?
โNICOLAS JACKSON has ruled himself out of Chelseaโs next game โ following five yellow cards for repeated offences.โ
Five bookings, all for dissent, and we are only six games into the season!

24th September 2023 at 4:53 pm #209721Wrong colored shirts, wrong type of grass… okay, crazy but vaguely logical, but the wrong type of lemons?
Starting to think Poncho is still wearing his Spurs underpants and is just playing silly buggers… ๐
