I think the YooUtd job is too big for him, full stop. He looks like he’s feeling the pressure, and when a manager starts blaming bad luck on small margins while overlooking the failures of his own team (and all the good luck they’ve been getting!)… that’s not a receipe for success.
I hope he stay’s for a long time to be honest because, at best, he and the club will just be treading water.

17th September 2023 at 5:42 pm #209544Agree Banjo, silly thing for me, is they probably think giving him a lot more time is the right thing to do because it seems like a wise thing to do, even though for me, after over 12 months in charge with more of his own players, they still look no further forward imo. Like saying you’re having doubts about your potential spouse but you’re still going to go through with the wedding because these things can apparently take time to get right or you think things might change.

17th September 2023 at 6:28 pm #209549That’s one point in 5 games for Everton. Dyche not going to survive much longer at this rate.

17th September 2023 at 6:30 pm #209550Quality delivered when needed. 4 1 lost nothing. 2 London clubs neck and neck; what a set up for next Sunday.

17th September 2023 at 6:31 pm #209551Hmm maybe Sheff United could improve. The others including Everton look doomed.

18th September 2023 at 9:30 pm #209572Instead of Reporters grilling those managers on the back of an undesired result; why not probe post match in the direction of VAR to bring themselves forward and explain the thought process.
Using arm to guide as part of chest control; really? C’mon. That’s way too forensic for me.

18th September 2023 at 9:38 pm #209573Gosh, Floodlights up and a Thumbs Up for Football. That fills me with hope. Cheers VAR. This is what we could have done with for decades; cleaning up those type of elbowing in the background. Not gone unnoticed!

18th September 2023 at 9:49 pm #209574A contentious 1-1 but enjoyed the game; have respect for Forest. Burnley could have won it though.
