I’m noticing fans calling for Eric Ten Hag. That can’t be right surely?????

16th September 2023 at 7:51 pm #209501Alfie, surely eth is right about sancho?73m and heโs done absolutely nothing. Late for training etc then has a go at the manager on social media? A manager and club who supported him through his troubles last season. He needs to accept he is the problem not anyone else.
Iโd never have him back in the team mate even if utd are stuck. Iโve never seen such a lazy player like him. Anthony gets stick but he works hard .

16th September 2023 at 8:07 pm #209502Sean, I have no idea what he is like in training, ETH obviously does though. If he is late then he can have no complaints. The fact that he disagreed made me think it wasnโt cut and dry. If he was late for training then I have no idea how Sancho can deny that.
Team comes first.
Itโs a shame Sancho is training away from the squad as he was in decent form and clearly had a chance to nail a place down in Anthonyโs absence.

16th September 2023 at 8:26 pm #209503Laurie thillwell or whatever his name from athletic said sancho was given a time to come in for each day and was late a few times. I just donโt get him to be honest mate. Luxury player who just strolls around. I think heโs done there

16th September 2023 at 8:33 pm #209506I think he is finished too Sean.
I think he is the sort of player who would do well in a team which is out of the spot light a little bit.

16th September 2023 at 8:47 pm #209507A settled 11. But have the Red of Manchester been blessed with that week in week out with just a few tweaks?
The answer is No from an outsider looking in.
I would be the first to shed sympathy in the direction of injuries.
However, I would question an example for example Erikson. Really? He should be offloaded with the greatest respect.
Be clear too of baggage like Sancho; either Yay or Nay.
There needs to be a Regroup and a Reset. Unfortunately as much as pain and misery of the Defeats, this needs to be parked to one side and an instant positive result from the Next Match.

16th September 2023 at 9:52 pm #209509Cheers Alfie, it was a great day. Good experience going to OT, and I quite like Manchester as a city too.
As for the game we should have capitalized on a good start, but we didn’t. For me we lack characters and real leaders. To me it looked like noone pushed their chest forward and drove the team forward when it got difficult.
United just doesn’t look like a team with no spirit and leaders._____________________________

16th September 2023 at 10:05 pm #209510And it would be good if Rashford every once in while looked up and crossed the ball instead of always trying to do it all on his own.
He looked like he thought he was alone on the pitch for much of the game._____________________________

17th September 2023 at 8:42 am #209511The more I read about the Spuds game yesterday, the more I’m looking forward to the reply today on my box… it would seem Sheffield set their stall up early indeed and, among many other decisions in the first half, it was a travesty there were only 3 minutes extra time in the first half…
Got no problem with teams “parking the bus”, but I do have a problem with teams “parking the bus” and them complaining when some little toe-rag (probably from under the pier at Southend!) comes along and nicks your stereo… or your hub-caps!!
As for the other games, only saw bits here and there, YooUtd looked a bit devoid of ideas, Micky-Mousers still don’t look like the best of the rest, nobody is going to keep up with the Sportswashing Campaign, and if I didn’t support the Spuds, I think I would want to be a Brighton fan… ๐

17th September 2023 at 9:35 am #209513Ange Postecoglouโs calmness credited for Tottenhamโs dramatic turnaround, I admire a coach or manager who restrains from going crazy when his team scores.

17th September 2023 at 11:53 am #209515Man City are still lethal, but no team should be afraid. This League is at it’s hottest point ever with the level of competitiveness.

17th September 2023 at 12:02 pm #209516Finished the Spud game… absolutely “deserved” the 3 points, Sheffield were wasting time from the get go and how their goalie managed not to get red-carded I do not know… got a yellow for a handball outside the box (which was “fair” as it didn’t deny a genuine goal-scoring opportunity) and then took about a minute for every free-kick/goal-kick for the next 60 plus minutes(except for the last 4 minutes when they were losing, he suddenly remembered how to run then!).
Got to say the ref had a mare, most of the “calls” seemed to go Sheffields way, but as Spuds were doing most of the “playing” that was expected, although he seemed to get a couple wrong in the other direction too…
As for the Spuds, looking forward to the next two games against the Goonies and Micky-Mousers, let’s see how far we may or may not have come… doubt either game is going to be 0-0 and can’t wait to see how this teams plays against teams that are going to leave a bit more space at the back…

17th September 2023 at 12:03 pm #209517There’s stacks of games the following Sunday; almost halved from Sat.
CL and EL returning. We’re obviously ourselves are short of depth. Klopp will do his best to utilize.

17th September 2023 at 12:06 pm #209518Chucks, looks like Rich is one the mend now following his struggles. Not always been a fan of the guy for his attitude when he played for the blues, but seems to have stepped up. Main man since Kane left.

17th September 2023 at 12:47 pm #209520Canโt argue with that Chucky we were awful in 1st half yday with a makeshift back 4 but weโre very good 2nd half . We can get so so much better aswell.
Tough few weeks coming up for us which should tell us more about the team but great start for us.
Very strong bench yesterday and thatโs with taa, vvd and thisgo
We will see what spurs are really made of in next two weeks

17th September 2023 at 1:03 pm #209521I completely forgot about Tiago!
Sean, yeah we were softy softy in the first half, I felt by the commentators though, it was exaggerated. We’re definitely not the worse Liverpool team, but a team getting to know each other on the pitch.
Yes mate, not to get to carried away, but I am truly loving our impressive start ๐
