No Chelseaman City won the away fixture they lost to City in December at the Etihad.

18th October 2019 at 7:11 pm #50311Yeah CM, but city dominated both games, thats the difference. 9 times out of 10 palace would not have won the game they won against city at the etihad last year, but 9 times out of 10 city would have still won the game they won at selhurst. Given this and how eager city will be to bounce back it is very unlikely palace will get a result. Would love to see it and you never know, but I see a thrashing on the cards to be honest. City to win by 4+

18th October 2019 at 7:12 pm #50312Yeah Lucky, there is no dispute with that. but still a win is a win at the end of the day.

18th October 2019 at 7:16 pm #50313And a fluke is a fluke at the end of the day CM, shouldnt put much weight on that one result thats all I am saying.

18th October 2019 at 7:55 pm #50316On the subject of Ole, I’m with Ed on the fact that realistically, the cut off point should have been till the end of last season.
Now, this isn’t a case of Spite. The Board from the outset should have filed this as an Interim or Caretaker role and nothing further.
I don’t know it the true feeling is that they’d have liked what they seen (at the time) and chose that path to invest in Solksjaer or whether it was simply a Default appointment because they couldn’t get the supposed Target.
Let’s say Ole goes early or soon this season, who comes in? Wouldn’t they be in the same boat?
Do United wait till the season finishes really try and nail pledge with a ‘Stella’ Manager?

18th October 2019 at 8:40 pm #50332Mav, here is the hypocrisy of that. if wages and performance are judged to relate. how come i don’t see the media treating Sanchez and other underperforming top earners similarly? i’m not saying Ozil is completely perfect, but i see where he is coming from.

18th October 2019 at 8:46 pm #50333Cman, Sanchez has been heavily criticised across all areas fans, media and social media.
Ozil is a very good player who has lost his way at Arsenal if he was prepared to take a significant wage cut he could start again somewhere else and hopefully kick start his career again.

18th October 2019 at 8:56 pm #50334Ozil was also the one to use the term scapegoat, but realistically you can only be a scapegoat if you are playing. He may claim to have been a scapegoat prior to this season, but believe me Chelseaman I have seen enough Arsenal fan TV to know Arsenal fans have not picked on ozil or scapegoated him, for him to be scapegoated they would have to be more unfairly critical of ozil than the other players and that is not the case, they are brutal with virtually all the players.

19th October 2019 at 1:21 pm #50368Well, Everton are showing fighting spirit and determination to fight for their boss. but the hammers are pressing for a equaliser. the media to have put back their knives for another 45 minutes for Silva. so far Everton are impressive 11 shots can you imagine?

19th October 2019 at 1:43 pm #50370Just a word for a fine 40-16 win for England in the Rugby World Cup. Always nice to beat our friends from Oz whether it be in Rugby or Cricket.
One step at a time though with either the Kiwis or the Irish up next. 🙂

Not sure how accurate that line up is. but that is what i saw at Livescore. if accurate Lampard decided to take the game to Newcastle. and from the look of it, it’s 4-3-3.

19th October 2019 at 2:32 pm #50378That’s the line up Ckman. Probably the right one too given how Newcastle will set up 4/3/3.

19th October 2019 at 3:24 pm #50382Alonso is stupid to react like that. now he has put himself under pressure for the rest of the game.
