20th October 2019 at 12:35 pm #50483C67, thanks mate.
Like Sean, I don’t particularly like these fixtures as much. Old Trafford is a hard place for Liverpool.
Any sort of win to be fair would be great.
2:30 am mate, are you in Oz?

20th October 2019 at 12:37 pm #5048467, Good msigning for Inter, but watched him in game against Juve and he was absolutely useless to be fair.

20th October 2019 at 1:33 pm #50486AnonymousWell, we’ve got to drop points at some stage and going by Klopp’s record against Utd, especially at OT, you’d be smart to say this could be the game… but It’s also a good opportunity for us to show that we’ve made a step forward from last season.

20th October 2019 at 1:49 pm #50487Id be amazed if its nil nil.
Mind you Utd have had trouble scoring this season. Still going for 0-2. This in fact the favorite score at 15/2. 0-0 is 12/1 (per skybet)

20th October 2019 at 2:07 pm #50490I actually think there will be a Penalty today and definitely involvement from VAR.
I think United will mainly try and catch us on the counter and try to split our defence. We should make the most of possession in getting more bodies around their box and carve an opportunity from close range.
If on the other hand, we’re on the counter ourselves, I have every confidence in our front 3.
Time To Make This 9 out of 9 – COME ON THE REDS!!!

20th October 2019 at 2:32 pm #504919-There is no defence on this planet that can cope with Salah-Mane-Firminho trident.

20th October 2019 at 3:21 pm #50492Kylie-Spuds were so open yesterday that even Katie Prices legs would have been proud of that.Any other side playing Spuds instead of Watfjord, and the game would have been over long time b4 Spuds scored.

20th October 2019 at 3:34 pm #50495Maybe Goose, but they didn’t take the few chances they created when they could be bothered to cross the half-way line, did they? As I said earlier, normally I would have said tough luck on Watfjord, but when teams start time-wasting in the 30th minute (they may have been doing it even earlier, but the first thing I saw was the Watfjord goalie taking 45 seconds for a goal kick when I turned it on…), have no sympathy when they drop points, deserved or not. As shite as my boys may have been, got no time for teams like that. Setting up defensively is one thing, but that is taking the biscuit.
10) VAR is shit
11) Time-wasting is getting nearly as bad as cheating in my opinion.
12) VAR is shit
13) Really want to see other fans crying by full-time tonight… ๐

20th October 2019 at 3:42 pm #50497Chuckles, what are your views on the VAR decisions during the Spurs match yesterday?
Possible penalty for Spurs
Possible penalty for Watford
Handball in the Spurs equaliser

20th October 2019 at 3:44 pm #50498Salah out but Degea is deemed fit to play. if i was a United fan, i would be praying for Mane to have missed this match than Salah. this season Mane is the one that is doing all the business for Liverpool.

20th October 2019 at 4:02 pm #50502Peggy… I’m very harsh in my awards of penos’, I personally think they should only be given when a clear cut goal-scoring opportunity is denied, not simply because there was an “incident” in the peno box with the context of the incident being viewed.
That said, neither was a peno, the Danny Boy was simply a case of Danny Boy making right meal of it and so obviously looking for a peno and doing his best to influence the ref. The Watfjord one was certainly more of a peno than Danny Boys, but the very clear view I saw on my TV was the Watfjord fella was also absolutely looking for the contact and seemingly attempted to make sure by leaning into the tackle (if anything made sure Jan wasn’t going to get the ball). If it were up to me I would have given neither as in both situations, both “attacking” players were milking it for their worth and neither really made any effort for the ball once they knew there was a chance for a peno.
Having said that, under the current absurdity of the laws of the game, they both should have probably been given, as there was certainly contact in both instances.
16) VAR is shit.
As for Wee Dele, couldn’t really tell one way or the other, camera view that saw where too far away to an absolute clear-cut 100% view. It could have been his upper arm, could have been his shoulder. Could have been both. Don’t know. I’m sure there are better views than what I’ve seen.

20th October 2019 at 4:13 pm #50505Wouldnโt argue with any of that Chuckles, both penalty claims could have been given by the ref and there wouldnโt be too much arguing, but I donโt think they were howlers of decisions that they werenโt given. As for the hand ball, on close inspection and close examination I think it was handball, but again it was nowhere near a clear and obvious error and as such the goal standing is correct.
If VAR is the all seeing eye that eliminates all errors in the refereeing, and works to the letter of the laws, then I would say it got all 3 decisions wrong, so whatโs the point in having it if it makes the same mistakes as the ref….Pagan

20th October 2019 at 4:20 pm #50506Haven’t seen anything of the Spurs game yet Pagan but if it wasn’t a clear and obvious error by the Referee VAR won’t get involved.

20th October 2019 at 4:31 pm #50508Not a great looking line up from Utd, but we’ll see. Who would have thought we would lose to Norwich and Wolves. Money still on Liverpool.

20th October 2019 at 4:37 pm #505099s, and thatโs the point, is an inch offside when itโs only a best guess when the ball actually moves forward a clear and obvious error, but some are quite happy to say it is.
Who actually decides what is clear and obvious?

20th October 2019 at 4:43 pm #50510Utd players look nervous and cant get the ball. Utds best chance will be a set piece.
Given Rashford is playing on the left wing most of the time who is the main striker?
Liverpool just need one good move. So far Utd not too bad. They are going forward but hard to see who is going to score._____________________________
