Adlab, Liverpool faced away from home Tottenham and Brighton and only achieved 1 point. Fixture computer had it in for us or not, it’s sods law, but it’s done and out of the way, thank god we have Everton and Forest in succession.

Need investment in full-backs and center halfs. Mac and Zobo too much relied upon. Giving goals away is a kick in the nuts. That’s to say the least!

For us it’s perfectly clear. Without KDB and Rodri we are just not as good. A clear weakness in midfield.

Liverpool can’t work out what’s missing.

Think it is down to policing the games at some point United are going to play 2 away games on the trot a number of times.

Brighton will always be a tough fixtures for anyone.

Villa will be a tough place to go.

I think you are right about a specialist defensive midfielder. For us Rodri shows how important that is these days. Without him we are nowhere near as good. That’s why I was confident we would gey something v Leipzeig mid week but less confident today. The replacements are just
Not as effective.
VVD and another need more protection.

Sean – I didn’t see it, but if it was the penalty then it’s the double jeopardy rule. Brought in this season I think. Now they say the penalty is enough a punishment if there was an attempt to play the ball. If no attempt to play the ball then ref can card the player.

Didn’t see it so can’t say for sure.
