29th September 2019 at 9:51 am #48764no mate would never do that but I did note that all the credible posters on there are also here so it was a no brainer to be honest. I also saw that the Liquidator was a regular a few years back so hopefully he will return.

29th September 2019 at 9:57 am #48766AnonymousWhen your team plays its a tense affair so all you want is a win one way or another but watching neutral teams you don’t really feel any pressure just sit back to enjoy the football. City gives you that and other teams as well but to a much lesser extent. Of course if another team is challenging your team on equal or close points then it does change as we would want the other team to win or hold them. But it’s great to watch all EPL games.

29th September 2019 at 9:59 am #48768I have been a closet Liverpool supporter (2nd team) ever since the misfortunes against Real Madrid. Always Chelsea first but when we are not involved Liverpool over City all the way. Nil, I felt the pain with you since then and so happy for you that Big Ears came to the club 2nd time around. That 97 point second with only one loss, unbelievable!! This time and hoping for the 30 year drought to be broken, we cannot win it so you guys do it. Long way to go but a great start. Winning when not playing at the peak is generally the sign of a Champion team. Good luck.

29th September 2019 at 10:16 am #48771AnonymousWell I also wanted Liverpool to win the CL again Madrid a club who gets away with downright murder year after year, I was neutral for the Liverpool – Spurs final.

29th September 2019 at 10:22 am #48772Thanks for the Good Words Chelsea 1967.
Hope you guys stick with Frank as you have some decent players and 4th Spot is definitely up for grabs. Just take it game by game. That’s what we’re doing and see what happens after.

29th September 2019 at 10:26 am #48773Really enjoyed the Everton game yesterday and I felt they gave a good account of themselves. Unfortunate if anything what happen with Theo, but Iwobi made quite a difference. Coleman was absolutely Top Class, plus Sigerson. Shame about Bernand being injured, but it’s hard to understand why Marco Silva isn’t getting a tune out of these guys week in week out.

29th September 2019 at 10:34 am #48774Thanks mate. Amazing what an enforced transfer ban can do to change a club’s direction and it’s all for the good as it is unearthing some gems and the most positive thing right now is that they are all commiting long term to the cause. I guess that is due to how highly regarded and respected Lampard and also Jody Morris are around the club. Regarding the subject of the thread, looking forward to the big match tomorrow United and Arsenal. A match that United must be under huge pressure to win or their ex playing pundits will be queuing up to take more pot shots at them such are the standards they expect at the club.

29th September 2019 at 10:59 am #48775C67, in reality, the Kids only get a look in when in smaller competitions. The pressure mounts straight from the top and managers are expect to create a winning machine within a short space of time.
Some of these players thrown straight onto the circuit are showing positive signs in being able to handle themselves with the big boys.
Maybe it’s not all doom and gloom as far as the transfer ban goes mate and naturally, it won’t be forever.

29th September 2019 at 11:07 am #48776mounts being the word mate 🙂 Mason Mount is going to be something big. Reece James, Tomori exceptional. Tomori played very well against Mo Salah only last week (congrats on your win in that one by the way). In reality you are 100% correct however Chelsea are not currently in the real world due to the restriction. Confidence is the thing for me and we cannot afford any more drubbings like the 4-0 reversal in the first match against United. When we finally play City I reckon Frank will be a little conservative to say the least. Kante has hardly featured and we need him fully fit and available. He is a big miss. RLC still to come back and CHO yet to strike form with match fitness still down a little. Yes, the future is bright.

29th September 2019 at 1:22 pm #48786AnonymousIf ye played Utd today, there’s no chance in hell they beat you 4-0. Im a bit of a closet Chelsea fan, as you put it. I don’t have a second team as such but I have over recent times warmed to the Chelsea plight.

29th September 2019 at 2:44 pm #48790Agreed Mak I’d like to see Chelsea play United at OT now and see what happened – could even be closer to a reversal of that score the way the respective clubs are going right now.

29th September 2019 at 2:48 pm #48792AnonymousNine, there are too many Chelsea supporters on here. We don’t want this to become a primarily Chelsea site (I joke! :P)
Good to see some other clubs fans joining. If only we could coax in a few more Spuds.

29th September 2019 at 3:01 pm #48794AnonymousA very good weekend of football so far with Leicester today who have been excellent and a Biggie tomorrow.
The big 2 not at their best but get 3 points anyway, which is what makes them so much better than the rest.
I was pleased with Spurs not pretty but we needed 3 points and scraped a win after playing for an hour with ten men.
I had a long message today from a friend very close to Spurs HQ and if true goes a long way to answer why we have been so bad, I can’t say anything yet but here is a clue JVSWCEW !!!!!_____________________________
