1st October 2019 at 9:59 am #48925Yes! i would also reiterate what my other fellow Chelsea lads have posted. we seem to be getting the required numbers now in the forum. before, Lucky, Chelsea1967, Blaze we had very much been in the minority with Nine, Pagan, 442, Moos, and myself representing the blue flag here.
I would also suggest, that it’s never too late to dream. i also share the sentiments and let us not dampen people’s spirits. none of us has a crystal ball here. we are all hopeful. and i also believe the future is bright for chelsea.

1st October 2019 at 10:17 am #48927I wouldn’t say it’s a Liverpool, Chelsea and United forum here. there is a large City contingent here also. yes i would admit that Arsenal aren’t well represented here. but with time and as the word spreads. i think we will see many Arsenal fans joining it.

1st October 2019 at 10:58 am #48929I had noticed, Steveo π – Would like to see more Arsenal Supporters.
It is still a small network though on here and I just try and see the posters as posters who can bring in a different point of view.
Just checked my work football message board set up and Chelsea have been tipped to finish 3rd above Spurs.
It’s an interesting one.

1st October 2019 at 11:16 am #48931AnonymousYa Nine, if you lads can get your best CB pairing fit, you just never know, Chelsea might surprise people this season. I don’t think I was too kind to Chelsea when we predicted the top 8 but I might have gotten Leicester and Utd right π
Nah seriously though, shore up that defense and the attack will wreck teams.

1st October 2019 at 11:56 am #48936AnonymousTo be honest, would love some more lower league fans on and about these humble pages. Massively respect the viewpoints from down the leagues. Us top tier fans are spoilt rotten regularly with prima doners. Chilli and garlic mayo sauce please.

1st October 2019 at 12:19 pm #48938AnonymousSteveo, I just mentioned footydebate here and there on TT TBH. Some signed up and others started a conspiracy that I owned this site and was trying to undermine the TT owners. Of course as ye know, I don’t and as a long time poster at TT, I was just fed up of the endless childish bullying, instead of talking about football.
We got most of the good posters but there were 1 or 2 that got fed up and quit entirely, before I became aware of footydebate.

1st October 2019 at 12:29 pm #48939AnonymousRead 2-3 pages of this and just look at the brow beating of opinions. This is what the Liverpool TT page became and there eventually was no escaping it. There are 3-4 of those guys (2 in particular though TBH) who would utterly ruin this site, were they to arrive.

1st October 2019 at 12:49 pm #48942Some top Liverpool posters have gravitated to this site lately the majority of which seem to continue posting on TT.
The Chelsea posters that have gravitated to this site have done it of their own accord I couldn’t in truth promote another site to Chelsea posters on the Chelsea site whilst being the Moderator on the Chelsea site.
I think it’s wrong for anyone to promote another site on TT but that’s just my personal opinion.

1st October 2019 at 12:50 pm #48943Yeah absolutely. I think sometimes people aren’t really sure what it is they want from a forum. Bringing in more posters inevitability means more disagreements, which can be good, but can also be damaging. It’s obviously easy to ban people and I’ll happily do that, but then it runs the risk of becoming a closed shop of like-minded, non-controversial samey samey posts.
So either the aim is to grow the site, at any cost or to keep things nice and small and trouble free. It’s a fine line to try to find an inbetween without alienating the really important current top posters we have. I do think there is an ideal place in between the two extremes but it requires a fair bit of moderation. Either way, more than happy for more posters to join and I’ll deal with any problems that arise as well as I can.

1st October 2019 at 12:55 pm #48946? Nine, you’re promoting TT on here! ?
Joking aside, I agree with that sentiment. Although, all I can say is that I’m more than happy for people to promote other sites on here. If I don’t get to see why/where people are going, how can I ever make a site which will make them stay? If people start talking about another site on here, rather than try to censor it, I’d want to know what I can do to give the posters what they feel they can get elsewhere. That’s not a dig at any other site. Just my take on the principle

1st October 2019 at 1:07 pm #48947Ed, to be fair this is a General Football Site rather than a Club Football site which are two very different animals imo and the majority of posters on here have come from Teamtalk anyway.?
And it’s the best General Football site around imho.

1st October 2019 at 1:08 pm #48948Anonymous“I think itβs wrong for anyone to promote another site on TT but thatβs just my personal opinion.”
Given that TT has descended into a decrepit cesspool, I think it’s only fair to take the last few good posters on there and leave the rest to their tortured existence.

1st October 2019 at 1:16 pm #48949Ed, this is a great site other than would be nice to have a few more posters outside of Pool/chelsea/united and city…but thats no down to you
on TT we have only about 6 regular posters….but to many bad apples….few more teams supporters would be nicve but you cant have it all and the lads that are here are fandabidozey so no issues and i do like to get opposing fans views…
except for Nancy of course π

1st October 2019 at 1:21 pm #48950Seems after his injury and lack of preseason, Willian is hitting form at the right time. i have always believed in him and defended him. he seems to be taking more shots on goals than ever before, may be that is one influence from Lampard. his workrate has always been superb. and he seems to be adding an end product. may be this direct football that Frank is implementing suits him, than the previous systems. and let us not forget that he offers that experience. most of those player around him in attack are young, so he is vital. if Frank gets double figures from him this season, our chances will look good.
