30th September 2018 at 8:55 am #26791Agreed.
Nothing in the media. Thats the way I like it. Its all about Mourinho, the Chelsea match and Ryder Cup with a little Formula 1.
Nothing the media like more than a downside.
If we hadnt been fiddled at Wolves…….
Also I bet Utd regret voting against VAR. The first goal wouldnt have been given as clearly offside_____________________________

30th September 2018 at 9:05 am #26792City trucking a long nicely. Winning games with minimum fuss. Bernardo Silva is having a great season
Nine, cheksea are contenders in my view and said it from the start. Sari has come into an absolutely brilliant squad. Striker short without a doubt but they have some fantastic players.
How quickly the change around in style has been implemented is very surprising and Chelsea look a very good team. Press reakky well and some lovely passing
I thought our front 3 were poor yday. We missed some good chances but Alison made two very good saves aswell. Great game and delighted with a draw as a really tough place to go

30th September 2018 at 9:08 am #26793Jose team selection was really bizarre yday. Why play a midfielder centre back when Bailey on bench ?
He then rips into the players character??
I don’t think he will be sacked as it’s utd admitting defeat in another manager. He should have been supported in the summer. If he’s sacked then utd need to rebuild again and are still left with a rebuilding job_____________________________

30th September 2018 at 9:31 am #26794Sean, Utd won’t care how it looks regarding admitting defeat I another manager. What’s even worse than that is sticking with a manager and seeing the decline continue. At most of the other big clubs, he’d have been gone already so I think they’ve shown a great deal of patience in him in modern day terms, where the average PL manager’s tenure is just over a year. If there were signs of progress they’d back him to the hilt but spending what he’s spent and registering our worst start to a season in almost 30 years is just not good enough and there can be no surprises if he loses his job.

30th September 2018 at 9:33 am #26795Top with our best player to return in 3 or 4 weeks. Can’t ask for more than that at the end of Sep.

30th September 2018 at 9:37 am #26796I have to say i think the Chelsea keeper might have done a bit better than that. You see many shots like that tipped over the bar throughout a season. Great shot by Sturridge for sure, but the keeper seemed to pick it up late and just not jump.

30th September 2018 at 10:13 am #26800Mav, I’m not worried about Salah. He started last season like this.

30th September 2018 at 10:38 am #26801Sean, yes he has to go now for me. The one and only reason to bring him in is his undoubted ability to win trophies. If I thought we were making strides towards creating a team capable of competing, I’d have patience with him but we’re going backwards. There are zero signs of progress and, most worryingly, he seems to have lost the players and there is no way back after that. As I’ve said on another thread, I think Jose is going to continue winning trophies as he’s a very good manager but it won’t be at Utd. Similarly to how Klopp’s last season at Dortmund collapsed, this one looks impossible to turn around now he appears to have alienated large parts of the squad

30th September 2018 at 10:47 am #26802Very harsh Jim imo it was beautifully hit shot with a lot of pace and dipped just under the bar. I wouldn’t put any responsibility on Kepa for that as I think few if any Keepers would have stopped it in fact they made a comment on TV at the time that even three keepers wouldn’t have kept that one out.
I did though think that Kante should have got closer to Sturridge and that he was given far too much room butcrefif to him for scoring a great goal.

30th September 2018 at 1:35 pm #26806Nine, I think he misjudged the shot, and reacted too late. Look at his face afterwards he looked annoyed with himself. He’s not the tallest either is he ? 6,1 ish. Anyway just my opinion.

30th September 2018 at 2:12 pm #26810I read he was 186 cm. I’m 188cm which is 6,2. My point is he nearly got to it, I think he would have if he didn’t miss judge it. He doesn’t move initially. Anyway only he will know if he misjudged it.
Anyway Comon Europe!?
