Can’t see how you can call yourselves champions of Europe when you’re not even the best club in your own country, a bit like saying in an average season the FA cup winners are the best team in the country.

Sean, I don’t think all City fans should be judged on what Adlab posts just as all Liverpool fans shouldn’t be judged on what any individual Liverpool poster posts.
Overall given the way City play and what they’ve won the City posters on here have been anything but arrogant imo.
Given the level of competition between the two Clubs now which is likely to continue for a time I think both sets of posters need to be considered in what they post going forwards.
In the main both sets of posters are great let’s just all try and get along on here despite the obvious competition between the two Clubs and if someone posts nonsense there’s nothing wrong with anyone pointing that out in a respectful way but I just don’t think it’s right to call for City fans to be more respectful and call them arrogant because hand on heart in the main I think City fans have handled their success very well.
But most importantly I don’t want us to lose City posters going forwards when the site has just seen some of them return.

Nine, if the words “tone down the arrogance a little and show more respect” seems like I am calling all City fans arrogant and is offensive in your eyes then I’m afraid nothing I will say will help. To me I was carrying instruction that if: “someone posts nonsense there’s nothing wrong with anyone pointing that out in a respectful way” I see nothing wrong with the wording I used, especially in light of the messages they were aimed at. The City fans posted messages that I saw as dismissive of Klopp’s achievements which I and I’m sure other LFC fans saw as disrespectful and arrogant.

threeps, tbh I’m not sure why people are getting so excited over what is essentially a beauty contest ie beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I would have thought that achieving an historic domestic treble which has never been achieved before deserved recognition and perhaps that’s where the City posters were coming from.
But equally what Klopp has done in turning Liverpool into the team that they are culminating last season with winning the CL deserves recognition too.
Personally I would have awarded it jointly but based on how the voting was done that was impossible.
You and I will never fall out over this primarily because I respect you enormously as a poster my only objective in speaking out was to try and ensure things don’t get out of hand and we don’t lose some great City posters on here and speaking of great City posters there’s not a better poster on here than Brian.
