Bricky… not that I recall, I’m still not sure he was offside, the lines looked like they were on top of each other. But it doesn’t matter now, this week it was us, hopefully, next week it will be Libero0ols so we can all laugh at them! 🙂

Adlab, if that’s correct then it’s ridiculous, if you run at 25kmh, which is easily done by football players then 25mm [1 inch in old money) takes about four one thousandths (0.004) of a second, you can’t judge that accurately when the balls being kicked, which makes a bit of a mockery on the recent VAR decisions….Pagan

I was very pro VAR and I still am.. but this implementation of it is definitely worse for the game than nothing. It’s almost like the people making the rules are against VAR and want to change everyone else’s minds so that it can be scrapped.

I mentioned this morning that players and the Ref should just play the game as normal until there’s a signal from VAR in them checking something deemed as critical over.

There’s not in my view a great deal wrong, but it seems people are taking exception to it because the decision might have not in their teams favour and I get that.

This system is in place for during the game and so it’s viable for mistakes to be rectified. For 25 years we’ve been crying for technology and decisions can’t be reversed once the 90 mins is played.

I say stick with it. Maybe judge it after a full season. There’s always room for improvement and modifying.
