22nd September 2019 at 5:55 pm #48062AnonymousMikus, it’s like we’re begging them to get a goal back. This stadium will go up like a fire if they score.

22nd September 2019 at 6:01 pm #48066How prophetic Mak! Liverpool have allowed them too much of the ball thinking the game is won. Beware an Oliver decision chaps!

22nd September 2019 at 6:01 pm #48068Just looking somewhat leggy Mak. Opting for the lazy easy option of just wafting the ball up top.

22nd September 2019 at 6:05 pm #48071AnonymousI obviously want the 3 points but no matter how it is from here, Chelsea are in good hands here. They’ve caused us so many more problems than most teams are capable of.

22nd September 2019 at 6:07 pm #48072When God is giving you an unlikely point, he introduces an unlikely hero. Batshuayi comes in. i hope i’m right.

22nd September 2019 at 6:15 pm #48074Liverpool still struggling to assert themselves in big away games. Where is the pressing? Where is the desire we see at home? Does Klopp just overcompensate in being a bit more cautious?
Also Salah has been awful today.

22nd September 2019 at 6:24 pm #48075Big 3 points for Liverpool. I thought Chelsea deserved something from the game given everything but it wasn’t to be.

22nd September 2019 at 6:28 pm #48077AnonymousWhy the f*** did the ref not play advantage!? … WTF
OOOooffff though. I’ve not been that nervous watching the end of a match in years. Christ on a bike we invited thme on us for the entire second half.
Anyway, commiserations to the Chelsea lads on here but if it’s any comfort, Chelsea did really well. I think Liverpool are still kinda sloppy or something but whatever, we got the 3 points. I’ll worry about this during the week, or before the next game.

22nd September 2019 at 6:30 pm #48078Had to say I was sweating out that last 20 mins. Especially after Kante’s goal. We saw this one out and could well be a vital 3 points in the weeks to come. This ground is always been tough for us in fairness, so I’ll be thankful for ALL 3 Points.

22nd September 2019 at 6:33 pm #48079Mikus, I think it seems to me the players were instructed to basically go into game management mode.
It’s possible they were given 10-15 mins to get the 3rd, but whatever the outcome, it would be followed by ‘closed-down’ mode. It would explain Oliver’s decision in booking players for time wasting.

22nd September 2019 at 6:34 pm #48080Thought we were awful in the 2nd half. Real relief at the end as Chelsea deserved something from that game.
Massive win for us after a very tough game in Napoli. Stamford bridge is a real tough place to go to. Fans stuck with the team even when 2-0 down.
Matip was exceptional as he had been for a year. Salah was terrible and itβs been a while since he turned up in a big sway game.
Huge win as that was our worst performance of the season and we looked a bit tired. 6 wins from 6 is a magnificent start to the season
