Ed, not sure on Sanchez stats but I thought he was a success at Barca. I’m only going from memory. He was 35m in 2014 which was a hefty enough price those days no?

I like Foden jim. Lovely left foot. He reminds me a bit of David Silva and Bernardo. Can play in tight spaces etc. nice player to watch.

Yeah hope Foden gets a bit of a run now. Seems to have had to wait a while for his chance but it’s a difficult squad to get into. Hope he gets to play some PL games now.

Sean, Sanchez was £30mil to start with add ons. To put it into context, Di Maria went for twice that the same summer. Adam Lallana went for just £5mil less. It wasn’t that big a fee even then.

Definitely 999! Like I keep saying, there’s every reason to believe England could put together a really decent side in the coming years. Some really technically gifted footballers coming through now
