14th September 2019 at 7:27 pm #47511And now they’re playing the Spuds/Palace game, might have to check out the first half at least (2nd half was pretty bad from both sides it seems, a training/pre-season game!).
Just saw the third goal… oh dear…

14th September 2019 at 7:29 pm #47513City…it was going to happen at some point, Well done Norwich City keep it going now. Mistakes costs us to day and I think we missed the guiding defensive work of Fernandinho rather than Laporte. However, I am sure Pep has noted the downsides of to days performance and will be ready for Wednesday Only 5 games in and only 5 points behind we have been in worse positions

14th September 2019 at 7:34 pm #47515But the performance was more of a concern than the result. The defence so open against a crap attack. Thats the worry. Stones and Otemendi v poor. I reckon Garcia however young is a better defender.
Their goals were so soft it is embarrassing. Hope we can improve for CL!
Long way to go yet!_____________________________

14th September 2019 at 7:42 pm #47517Stones has always been a liability Adlab. Ok on the ball, poor defender. David Luiz in disguise.

14th September 2019 at 7:44 pm #47518Adlab..considering Stones has had little match time I think he got through it, Otemendi, not for the first time just switches off at times but there appeared no organisation from any one of the defenders, that is the real problem, maybe they should Bravo in goal and Ederson at CB!!!!!!!

14th September 2019 at 7:49 pm #47519If we made one mistake it was not replacing Kompany. We look very suspect at the back without Laporte.
Interested to hear Peps comments. Bet he is furious. Not so much with the result but the manner of their goals and our lack of finishing._____________________________

14th September 2019 at 7:53 pm #47520City have rightfully attract plaudits for their fantastic squad depth but in defence they seem very light. Going into the season 3 with only senior centre backs didn’t seem the best idea but then when the best one gets injured the weakness is even more apparent.
Fair play to Norwicj, love their refreshing attitude really hope they stay up. Too many teams set up to try and keep the score against them down but they look to have a go against anyone.

14th September 2019 at 7:54 pm #47521AnonymousSome good performances , City no where near their best today but Norwich deserved something out of that game. Got to take my hat off to Chelsea and TA what a cracking player he is turning into, also Mount continuers to shine , CL place 9 ? .Spurs played well for 45 then forgot how to. Utd get the points while not at their best which always helps.
This is going to be some season I reckon._____________________________

14th September 2019 at 7:57 pm #47522Donβt know what to say about that…sometimes you canβt walk the ball in the net..itβs like they are forbidden to shoot unless they are inside the box

14th September 2019 at 8:35 pm #47527Adlab, itβs one game mate. Games like this happen even to the best teams around.
There should be no over reaction to this city defeat.
Stones was improving but has regressed again.
Laporte is a big miss but I fully expect city to bounce back like they did after the Newcastle defeat in Jan
City very very Rarely have games like today
As Brian says, such early days and 33 games to go.
