i cant believe what im reading, is this TRUE?

is someone living in a city that is different from the PL team they support and the supporters of said city team in question think they are good (they of course have won the PL, a few other teams havent)…..mental

i shall be avoiding all such towns in future if this is the malarky i can expect from the natives 😉

What’s so unusual?! The Leicester I grew up in compared to now has changed. You read a lot of their comments and people who have lived long feel the same. The Team itself is upper mid-table at best. I’ve watched Liverpool play having sat in the stands and not particularly liked what I have to listen to.

Why do people turn against someone just because they happen to have a different stance and outlook on life and football?

There’s a lot of people I come across on the roads and at work. A lot of the time it isn’t pleasant, but sometimes it is. That’s life. I’m only speaking about my experiences.

The irony here is more than a few non-Foxy Ladies fans kinda fancy them to have a good crack at the Top 4 and it wouldn’t be that much of a surprise if they did. A bit of a surprise, a bit like a Kinda Egg type of surprise, but not as good.

“Naturally being a Liverpool supporter and not won the PL ever or the League Championship as we remember it for 30 years (almost) is going to leave a bitter taste. Especially when some of their fans think or believe they are Top 4 material. People should try living where I live and come into proximity of some of these people.”

We’ve spent the vast majority of those years a ways behind the eventual title winners in terms of quality but even then we’ve won loads of cups and cup final appearances. As far as being a supporter goes, we hit the jackpot. If someone were to illustrate the scenario here it would be like we were sitting in our garden, surrounded by all our magic nights and cups, glaring over at the neighbors with just 1 trophy… There’s no bitter taste in my mouth right now and there shouldn’t be for you (in my opinion). This is one of the few years where we’re good enough to be in genuine contention. We’re in the top 2 sides in the PL and only a madman would argue otherwise’. Is this not a great time?

Ok, you live in Leicester so I’ll let you off the hook a little TINY bit but really man, give up the hating of other clubs and their fans for having the audacity to want the same things that you do. Those Leicester fans have every reason to look over at us with some envy, it shouldn’t be the other way around. How are you going to feel when Klopp leaves? You’ll look back at this marvelous time and remember all the bad times of hating Chelsea and Leicester etc 😛

As for Lesta,I was one of those people very happy after they won the title,hope they do it again.I defo wouldnt be surprised if they win @ OT this wknd.

Well, let’s start with getting the names right, it’s Nottingham Forest, they get ever so touchy about being called Notts Forest.

I live roughly in the middle of the 3 larger cities in the East Midlands, and in my work I have staff in all 3, and there’s a central office with people from all 3, so there’s a hardcore of East Mids footy fans.

Ask a Derby fan who their main rival is, and they’ll say the Red Dogs, ask a Forest fan who their main rival is and they’ll say the Sheep Shaggers, Leicester will say Derby but that’s not reciprocated in any way. Notts, well most have a bit of a soft spot for them, me included.

Do I dislike any of them? No, Do I enjoy the banter between them? Yep.
