he needs to just go. He’s been absolutely worthless for the vast majority of the season. I gave him huge credit and wrote off bad displays for his goal against chelsea.. but he has been like a red card in almost every single other match for us.
I’d be better than him. He cant even be bothered like.. He’s ruined any chance of a legacy that he might have had,

Nine, it was kinda boring in some senses. I mean, early on Huddersfield actually broke our defence down several times. other than that it was so incredibly one sided and the lack of atmosphere made it kinda dull. TBH I think the insanely early goal caught the fans out before they felt any kind of anxiety or insecurity at all. We had shown our intent to win the game and gotten a result instantly so.. It was then a case of how many, way too soon.
You missed nothing, basically.
It’s genuinely worrying though to hear that Firmino is actually injured and wasn’t rested, Sturridge was AWFUL. Klopp has already commented about a quiet summer window, well I hope he knows that he must sign a quality attacker because we’re wafer thin after the 3 boys and I’m not looking forward to having to take on Barca without Bobby.
As for the PL, I think it’s pretty clear that City will have the message that they can’t drop a single point now.

Mak, yeah I forecast a comfortable win and wasn’t surprised by the scoreline. I’m pretty sure City would have expected a comfortable Liverpool win too.
Looks like it might go to the last game of the season both teams seem to be driving each other on.

I hope not cause Brighton won’t threaten City. My hope is 95% in the Burnley and Leicester games.
I was wrong when I said we had more points than Fergie ever did BTW. I read a website that said as much but no.. in 99/00 Utd got 91 points, so we’re level with their best ever now.

I have to admit that it’s annoying that we’ve to wait until Sunday for City to play. I have to admit that I’m actually quite hopeful of Burnley taking points off them and I’m not sure if it’s entirely well founded, given they beat them 5-0 previously! .. But Burnley are a form team. Leicester, although not having great games the last 2 times out in the PL probably represent the greatest threat to City, however.
Good to see Liverpool taking the 2 top spots (for now) in the top goal scorers charts. I think not enough has been said about the rivalry between Salah and mane. A discussion could be had on whether it’s a healthy rivalry. There have been times when they have refused to pass to each-other when it was the absolute best thing to do, only to miss their shot. In another sense, do they drive eachother on?
Salah has had a great return in terms of goals and assists, which is over-looked because it’s nothing on last season but the real credit has to go to mane who has genuinely been world class this season. You get the sense that when Salah runs with the ball that he’s a touch short of destroying defenders like he would have done before but mane… teams just can’t live with him at all when he’s on the ball.
I really hope Mane won’t ask to leave this summer. the sense of unfinished business would echo Suarez. who incidentally has said he will celebrate if he scores at Anfield.
I’ve absolutely no problem with this if I’m honest. I think he’s earned the right to celebrate a goal against us, as long as he keeps it tasteful.

I’ll be occupied at work, but should be in time for the second half, Sunday.
Last night was a fantastic response from the Reds – thoroughly enjoyed but it seems I’m not the only one noticing a seemingly subdued (at times).
Mane scored and the ground was quiet. Weird. As if to sense the goal was going to be disallowed.
Adlab, as far as I’m concerned, you guys still favourites to cross the line. As long as we do our job, nothing more could be asked. At the point of the final weekend, I hope by then we have secured a place in the CL Final.

Sturridge unfortunately in his defence simply just hasn’t had game time. He’ll probably leave this Summer and go to Leicester as it’s rumoured Rodgers wants him.

Sturridge will be a good free transfer signing for someone with his contract running out at the end of June.
I wouldn’t even say no to him at Chelsea given the our lack of goalscorers. Assuming no transfer ban.?
