31st March 2024 at 5:59 pm #213493Haaland scores a lot of goals. But is he a match winner in the same way Aguero was?

31st March 2024 at 6:26 pm #213495We’ll take that! I don’t think City are at the levels they were a few seasons back. Arsenal a lot more solid but lack something up top. And we’re still very dependent on Salah. Key he stays fit now with Jota to hopefully come back soon.

31st March 2024 at 6:29 pm #213497Boring boring Arsenal… but as I guess it was Lego-head behing the tactics, playing 10 men behind the ball and trying hit them on the counter (like Luton) will now be genius in its desgin.
Still like watching YooUtd lose the most.. π

31st March 2024 at 6:41 pm #213499Providing we win on Thursday, we could I guess afford a draw at Old Trafford as a safety net and go second on goal diff assuming the Gunners beat Luton midweek.

1st April 2024 at 8:10 am #213505Plenty of twists and turns Goose, none of the top 3 are going 9 from 9 until the end of the season….

1st April 2024 at 11:49 am #213510Everyone keeps saying if anyone can do X number of games winning it’s City but his season they haven’t. They dropped points against Arsrnal, against a poor Chelsea, so why does everyone think they’ll suddenly put on a 100% winning run? Whilst a brilliant team they are not the level they have been.
I agree with Chucky that none of the top 3 will win every remaining game. Its going to be close.

1st April 2024 at 11:55 am #213511Yeah Sean, that’s a good point. Obviously Man U this Sunday will be a Lions Den as they’ll come out of all guns blazing for the first 45.
If we get through them, I’d say the only stumbling block away from home would be somewhere like Fulham or West Ham. But we’re in April now and this month soon for sure we will have Curtis Jones, Robertson, Jota, Trent and even Bajcetic back just to give us the boost we need. I think in reality, there’s likely to be a draw and a defeat from us, but I believe this will head into the final weekend where all 3 teams will have the chance to clinch it in unique of Premier League inception.

1st April 2024 at 11:57 am #213512Forgot to include Alisson in that!
Also, there’s threads on here I’m sure with comments of ‘City will be running away with it’. Not this time for sure!
And yes, places will be swapped this coming week because of the dates etc when these teams play as it won’t be on the same day for all 3 and same kick off time.

1st April 2024 at 11:59 am #213513Exactly 3 p’s. Foden no show y’day. Gunners could really have started with Martinelli. Tomiyasu back. Difference this season to last was that they had Saliba out injured. This time round, he’s mega like Konate has been for us.

1st April 2024 at 12:19 pm #213514Threeps city have won 16 out of their last 19 games drawing 3. No defeats. Thats a remarkable run. They have done it countless times before. Im just going by history mate.
Also we have an absolutely massive chance. Real key players to come back.Aresnal on fire aswell. Its going to be very close
The minute this gets out of our control like it has twice before-in previous season then i dont fancy us. We cant depend on others to drop points now itsin ourhands
Get to this day next week still on top and itβs absolutely huge for us

1st April 2024 at 1:04 pm #213515And yet Sean they are still 3rd so Liverpool and Arsenal must also be putting out similar numbers. In the past Liverpool have also gone on crazy winning streaks and as I said this isn’t as good a City team as previous years.

1st April 2024 at 1:18 pm #213517Haha I know mate, why I pull you up on these things!
The form guides I found online cover the last 6 games and City are 5th on that with 12 points. Arsenal lead liverpool on 16 by goal difference. Villa and Spurs make up the places between Liverpool and City and they both have to play all the top 3 before the season end and obviously both desperate for points themselves.

1st April 2024 at 3:30 pm #213518Waspy-No easy games in the PL,mate! Fulham, Luton, Bournemouth, Wolves, etc, can be very difficult games for anyone. Then Spudsy and VIlla fighting for CL places,no easy @ all! Just Liverpool with so many players injured and top of the league, it’s in their hany/feet, really.
