30th March 2024 at 10:00 pm #213420Wouldn’t even call that justice!
Got to feel for Brentford only getting a point

30th March 2024 at 10:00 pm #213421I’d have been embarrassed to come away with 3 points there. Brentford deserved at least a point.

30th March 2024 at 10:04 pm #213423Didn’t deserve to win, but after being a goal up with three mins to play that was a disappointing end!

30th March 2024 at 10:09 pm #213425Really strange performance. Knew we’d be up against it with McT starting, but thought we’d have more than that. Disgraceful performance, outplayed throughout.
Ref was shit and allowed far too many fouls by Brentford to go and then penalised us for less, but that is just expected these days.
Team looked disinterested from the start.

30th March 2024 at 10:10 pm #213426As I keep saying, the zero goal difference for Man Utd in the table sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the teams around them. As it did last season. Just 40 goals scored (& conceded) this season. The teams above them have scored at least 20 more. Ten Hag surely can’t survive this season.

30th March 2024 at 10:16 pm #213432Yeah there’s no way he survives this. We’re getting battered every game and plastering over the cracks with moments of magic
We have faced 184 shots in their last 8 games..

30th March 2024 at 10:17 pm #213433It was a good game Sean. Mostly for Brentford fans, granted, but it was a good game. Bit strange in that it never really got going, but there was always something happening.

30th March 2024 at 10:22 pm #213434Thing is, if we come out fighting against Chelsea on Thursday as I suspect, it will just be all the more frustrating because we get yet another false dawn then it will be back to this complete and utter rubbish the game after. It’s clear to everyone now that Ten Hag just isn’t up to the job and it’s critical we don’t waste time finding the person who is with all the other clubs looking for top managers this season like Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern etc.

30th March 2024 at 11:14 pm #213439Big boys Liverpool, Barca and Bayern confirmed looking for new managers. Nearly big boy Napoli also I think. Plus a load of nations will probably part ways after elimination from the Euros. Lots of managerial changes this summer, can the likes of Utd and Chelsea even think about changing given the rebuilding job required and the unattractive position those clubs find themselves in? Not enough quality managers to go around!
Still think it will be Southgate for utd despite Ed trying to convince eveyone it wont happen This new part owner chap seems to have the hots for him, at least the rumours have sprung up after he bought his share of the club.

31st March 2024 at 5:22 am #213441Mikus, I’m honestly not sure. There are no standout candidates as Bayern and Liverpool are seemingly finding too. As Threeps writes, it’s not a great time to find yourself without a manager. I’d roll the dice though and go for a De Zerbi type I think. Amorim looks interesting but I think Liverpool have already put the groundwork in there.
Enough with the Southgate stuff Threeps. It’s not happening 😅

31st March 2024 at 9:32 am #213443Ye alfie, just a great finish to the game. Very frustrating for utd fans as you say, goal up in injury time you have to see it out
On refs alfie, did you dee chelsea pen and 2nd yellow? Absolutely disgraceful
Ed, neville has said for years now, utdhave players who van win games in moments. No doubt they will turn up next Sunday v liverpool!
Id be absolutely astounded if southgate got a big job anywhere.

31st March 2024 at 10:24 am #213445Typical that that gloss of a good Saturday of football is slightly hampered by the last game of the day. There were good matches as I had the Radio on at work.
Watched nothing mind as I didn’t get home till 9 and just too tired to really be social.
Typical also that United are different gravy when playing Liverpool, some of their fans boasting on social media etc of damaging ‘our quadruple’, then back to what they have been all season; Jekyll-Hyde.
They’ll be up for it for sure next Sunday to damage our Title Charge. To be truthful though, Liverpool were like that in the 90s; really fired up for United, then back to making silly mistakes. Pretty sad to treat one certain opposition like a Cup Final and not Aspire to anything further.

31st March 2024 at 10:25 am #213446Anyway, Happy Easter One and All. Clocks I see have gone forward 1 hour 🙂
This Is The One:
I am hoping for a Draw from the Ethiad and a Liverpool Win to make my Sunday. Fingers Crossed!

31st March 2024 at 10:38 am #213447I think we might see the “Utd are back!” performance in Thursday actually against Chelsea which could be good news for Liverpool because we tend to always follow that up with rubbish like yesterday. Either way, it’s just a matter of time now for Ten Hag. Little left to play for in the league. I just continue to be thankful for Chelsea this season who have somehow managed to make an even bigger balls up of the season than us.
