Dont believe in the idea of working class. I think thats long gone. Basically we are all the same. Some get lucky with education, environment, job etc. It is only those who want to create barriers that keep talking about class. You are as good as the next man regardless of accent etc and never forget it. Dont ever let anybody tell you you are not as good.
I was lucky. Good school, good university, good job etc but our chairman was from a humble background, his father was a park keeper and he nver hid it. As you can tell I feel quite strongly about this.
Yes you have a fault….you support????_____________________________

24th August 2019 at 10:05 pm #46236That’s David Luiz for you brilliant on the ball but he wasn’t the signing Arsenal needed to strengthen their defence.

24th August 2019 at 10:31 pm #46237Ads, what I’m saying or alluding to mate is that some of these people are in the vicinity of 1 choice of Car for Monday-To-Sunday.
Now, these people don’t dabble with Stocks and Shares and it’s certainly not my obligation to feed their Lifestyle.
I don’t particularly like some of these people in existence. It’s not a case of them working hard as such. I think they are more spoiled. Maybe not a fault of their own to a Degree, but the amount of ££££££££££££ in our game – who do we blame then????
OASIS ARE LOVED, because they are Working Class and ORGANIC, STRAIGHT FROM ROOT-TO-TIP.

24th August 2019 at 11:03 pm #46238Agree with Adlab look at Alan Sugar and what he achieved from very humble beginnings.
I don’t have any problems with the pundits I enjoy Carragher and Neville although I prefer to see them not commentating on their own teams games.
It’s tough for a player when his career finishes you can’t play Golf every day at 35 and they need something to fill the void despite all the money they’ve earned.

24th August 2019 at 11:08 pm #46239Crystal Palace have these results in them they beat City at the Etihad last season and Chelsea at the Bridge in our title winning season.
United won’t panic and I don’t think Ole will be out by Christmas I think he will get at least this season but United’s problems go deeper than just Ole and I don’t think he was particularly well backed by Woodward in the Summer.

24th August 2019 at 11:20 pm #46240That’s more in relation to ‘Career Planning’ and Guidance from when they enter the Footballing industry.
They don’t have a divine right to fall straight into punditry once they reach 35 and playing falls flat on them.
Joe Cole carried on for example playing, for Coventry, because he wanted to play. Simple as.
Some Pundits are Worthless for SKY. I don’t particularly like Sky, but hey ho. We get Daily Reporting on here by SKY, so it seems.
Anyway, I don’t agree with it and I can’t particularly change it. This Whole thing stemmed from SKY and a Convo predominantly between Mav and I.

24th August 2019 at 11:29 pm #46243Moos, I think you’re right about Leicester but I wouldn’t rule Wolves out although the EL might be tough for them to manage good game at Villa Park last night although based on that Everton look a bit short.

24th August 2019 at 11:40 pm #46247I think generally players want to play on for as long as they can and many ideally want to stay in the game in some capacity or other. Joe Cole spent the last two years of his career playing at Tampa and now combines being an Academy Coach at Chelsea with some punditry.

24th August 2019 at 11:43 pm #46248I mentioned before in the current climate in reality, certain Teams are D-
Or even E+ than a below C Grade.
Wolves, fair-enough but I’m not convinced by Rodgers or Leicester. They seem to forever hold on to their 2016 Title Winning Tag, though they are a Level of their own when it comes to entertain teams at King Power, when they are ‘ON IT’.
‘Normal’ Suspects are not there yet, so we have Liverpool and Manchester City, plus credit, in Tottenham Hotspur.

24th August 2019 at 11:52 pm #46250Think you’re right Nil there’s realistically only City and Liverpool for the title Spurs will do well to push those two but I don’t think top 6 is unrealistic for the likes of Leicester and Wolves.

24th August 2019 at 11:55 pm #46251Yeah must admit Nil Chelsea allegiances aside Joe Cole comes across as a really decent fella and knowledgeable about the game too. Chelsea youngsters learning from him is a bonus imo.

25th August 2019 at 7:44 am #46254Arsenal will be great going forwards but their defence perhaps not quite as flaky as it was is still flaky.

25th August 2019 at 8:51 am #46255What is up with de Gea.?
Obviously a top class keeper but last season and this most Utd fans will say too many errors costing too many points. It happened with Joe Hart and rightlg he was rested for a few games.
I doubt Solskear will have the nerve tnogh.Do you think he wants a transfer?

25th August 2019 at 9:43 am #46256Adlab, good question. IMO De Gea’s confidence is just completely shot. I don’t think he wants to leave the club per se but he desperately wants to win trophies (rightly so) and those two desires don’t align very well at the moment. He deserves to be winning trophies rather than battling for EL places. He’d go with my blessing and I think most Utd fans feel the same

25th August 2019 at 10:19 am #46257Watched MOD Utd game about 20mins ago. I do not understand the way VAR is supposed to work.
My understanding is that there should be intervention for a clear and obvious error.Hate saying it as I do, but Utd should have had at least one further penalty (take your choice). What we have is a hotch-potch of decision making. Accept that it is early days but not sufficient trials and tests have happened (imo) to use the system. Yes more correct decisions will be given but at the moment there are obvious flaws.
