which makes not going large in the FA cup a little odd, but maybe he fancies retaining the CL 😉

5th March 2020 at 8:05 am #80554I think we are going out of the cl stevo
Watford and Madrid basically play the same way with Madrid the better side for just sitting in. Think we had one shot on target in those two games
We look blunt up forward and really devoid of any creativity. Midfield and defence no better at the minute
It’s going to be a horrible game me aul chum
We really need to bounce back on sat with a good performance and result

5th March 2020 at 8:34 am #80566I thihk LFC game vs Bournemouth could be important to Liverpool’s progress in the CL. If they put on the a good performance it will give the team and maybe more importantly the crowd encouragement that they will perform well on Wednesday, bu put on another lethargic display and I think it will have a negative effect.
Still Bournemouth at home is probably the game (apart from Everton at home for Liverpool!) any top team would choose to play in order to get their form back on track. 4-0 with Firmino finally breaking his season home scoring duck.

5th March 2020 at 10:57 am #80584I take it a 2-1 home defeat right now,as long as its not another 6-1 drubbing.Spuds just cant stop conceding, they are more open & generous than Kerry Katona & Katie Price combined.

6th March 2020 at 1:48 pm #81260Mourinho bemoaning all his injuries again like he’s the only Manager with injuries. It’s getting really boring now.
Alisson out of Saturdays game for Liverpool and currently doubtful for Tuesday. I can only see a comfortable win for Liverpool on Saturday but they could do with getting him fit for the Atletico game.

6th March 2020 at 6:42 pm #81418Nine you’ve mentioned Chelsea’s injury problems a few times and obviously I dont follow the team as closely as you so I ask why are there so many? Are they training injuries? Is Lampard doing something that puts them at risk?

6th March 2020 at 8:24 pm #81472threeps, Loftus Cheek was injured last season under Sarri in a friendly game , Kante’s injury problems started last season under Sarri. As was Hudson Odoi’s original injury. The other injuries were all primarily match related Kovacic and Willian were injured v Liverpool Tammy Abraham’s injury was an impact injury to his ankle suffered when he hit the hoardings v Arsenal.
I’m sure though Frank and everyone at Chelsea from the medical staff down are reviewing the how’s and whys and what could be done about it to firstly try and restrict injuries and secondly to try and get injured players back more quickly.
Sean Vranc The Chelsea Blog
It’s been one of those season’s as far as injuries are concerned at Stamford Bridge. Whether it’s the way they train, or bad luck is anyone’s guess.
Going into Sunday’s clash with Everton, it has been revealed the Blues could have nine players sidelined, that’s the claim of Chelsea’s goal.com correspondent, Nizaar Kinsella.
“Nizaar Kinsella

@NizaarKinsella
Chelsea could be without nine players this weekend.”So who are the nine?
Andreas Christensen missed Tuesday’s encounter with a knock. The Dane is also still nursing a broken nose sustained against Manchester United. Although the defender did play after the injury wearing a protective mask.N’Golo Kante (Abductor) has missed the past few games As has Callum Hudson-Odoi. The youngster missed the start of the campaign after suffering a torn Achilles. After fighting back to find some form, the 19-year-old is now out with a hamstring problem.
Mateo Kovacic, and Willian both went off with Achilles problems in the 2-0 win on Monday night. The Brazilians’ injury is beleived to be less serious than the Croat.
Christian Pulisic (thigh), and Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Achilles) are both close to fitness. The America hinted yesterday a return isn’t far away. Loftus-Cheek has appeared in the matchday squad, but is still short of match fitness.
Tammy Abraham is still sidelined witu an ankle problem. The striker did have something to smile about last might though, after being named London’s premier league player of the year.
Last but not least is A suspension, rather than an injury. Jorginho received his tenth booking of the season at Bournemouth last Saturday, meaning he must serve a two-match ban.

7th March 2020 at 12:43 pm #81920AnonymousHow has Bournemouth’s goal stood? I was really calm when it went in, very sure that the VAR ref would see the obvious foul that the ref somehow missed…
If you can’t see something like this in a replay then you shouldn’t be anywhere near sport.

7th March 2020 at 12:48 pm #81925Either way about the goal, we can be so easily undone at the moment. Just one ball through is putting us under huge pressure and both Van Dijk and Gomez have been making more mistakes recently.

7th March 2020 at 12:54 pm #81930I said a couple of weeks ago this season wasn’t over, we are in an ongoing slump & it appears the lads are struggling to get out of it. From what I’m reading we are lucky to only be 1 down & they are walking through us like a hot knife through butter.
Heading to bed so I can only hope they can pull their heads out of their proverbial & get a couple of goals.
Take care all & remember folks it’s only a game._____________________________
