1st April 2023 at 5:53 pm #205738Is James playing as a third cb for Chelsea? Loftus cheek the wing back?

1st April 2023 at 6:10 pm #205739No word from nine or lucky these days? Hope nine is doing ok?
Good game this. Chelsea look very good going forward but bit cagey at the back

1st April 2023 at 6:10 pm #205740Maybe Stamford Bridge might not be a bad idea.

1st April 2023 at 6:44 pm #205741That’s a bodyblow. I think Villa are edging closer to us in the table.

1st April 2023 at 6:52 pm #205743Hey Waspy, if my team won the Champions League, and then spent about a billion pounds on players, and were currently 11th in the table and losing at home… I’d be bloody quiet too!!!
(But I’m sure they’re both okay!)

1st April 2023 at 7:20 pm #205745Not to throw stones from my glass house, but sacking Tuchel increasingly looks a very unwise decision by Chelsea this season. You need some stability somewhere with all these new signings and to change the manager as well you’d think has given the team little to coalesce around.

1st April 2023 at 7:26 pm #205746I have to admit, I don’t quite understand why my Spuds are the supposed club in crisis… not when we have the Jammy Dodgers around! A billion quid to improve a Champions League winning team… and that is what you get??

1st April 2023 at 7:38 pm #205747It’s a very fair point Banjo. Whilst one can still make some criticisms of Spurs this season, they currently sit in 4th spot, well above Liverpool & Chelsea.

1st April 2023 at 8:10 pm #205748Spurs have done nothing for decades babjo thatβs why mate.
Tuchel is an elite coach. He would do wonders with the current Chelsea squad. Bohely has to much control there. To many players bought and not all of potters choices Iβd say
Still, they could have scored a good few tonight just canβt finish. Chelsea will beat us on Tuesday in anyway. We are worse

1st April 2023 at 8:32 pm #205749Pep’s not stood still and clearly there’s a lot more to him than a cheque-book manager. He is tactically aware and knowledgeable.
It’s not just about 4-3-3, but selection a 11 and arranging a formation that’s the best fit for the player and one of which is good enough to beat the opposition.
His only downside is that Arteta’s been one step better and fresh. He himself is tactically aware and has the right jigsaw pieces to execute his plan.
That comes of course with good quality depth of squad but ultimately, a fulcrum of players that have got the team’s back, week in week out.

1st April 2023 at 8:35 pm #205750If we can’t get it, then I’d actually like Spurs to finish 4th. I like them! See Chucks, I am kind π

1st April 2023 at 8:43 pm #205751Waspy, you make my point even more, cyber chum… a club who never wins anything is sitting 4th and is in full blown crisis mode (according to the media!) vs a club that has bought a ton of trophies over the last twenty years, spent another billion since their last Champions League pot 2 years ago, and sit 11th… yet they are seemingly getting a free pass in the press…
At least it certainly feels like that in my world!!

1st April 2023 at 9:00 pm #205752Gakpo was a new dimension and refreshing. Jota’s still finding his way after his injury. We should play 4-2-3-1 versus Chelsea. It makes perfect sense. Take Harvey Elliot out and instead put Darwin Nunez at the top.
