Let’s put it down to handbags; Grealish though is one piece of work. Rodri needs to keep his hands to himself as with Akanji. They certainly know how to get physical.
Looks like there’s a solution to our midfield in Gakpo teaming up with Hendo and Fabs. Elliot’s a weak link and as much as I want to see him do well; he’s been thrown in too much too soon.
Can’t complain too much on City’s goal, but Salah’s was a Wembley Cup Final finish – Sensational. I believe we’ve got this, but we need to believe in ourselves that this is for the taking.

1st April 2023 at 1:33 pm #205714Ah you have to admire cities football. Absolutely quality side and will go onto win this game easily
We canβt keep the ball. They donβt give the ball away but we are getting stuck and battling so no complaints from me

1st April 2023 at 1:34 pm #205715Must be watching a different game, based on that half it wouldn’t be the boys in red I’d be sticking my Monster Munch on…

1st April 2023 at 1:38 pm #205717Sean, that’s all we can ask for from our team; they get stuck in and don’t allow opposition a free pass.

1st April 2023 at 1:40 pm #205718We went to sleep there. Why didn’t Alisson take the initiative to come out?

1st April 2023 at 1:43 pm #205719I really don’t like these delayed offsides leading to desperate tackles… some poor sod somewhere is going to get badly injured…

1st April 2023 at 1:51 pm #205720This is what I feared and believe it’s hard to stomach. We do all the hard and pretty stuff and they get a chance handed on the plate. Reminds me of when they played Villa on the final day of last season. We need to keep this respectable.
Ball Watching twice it’s so schoolboy.

1st April 2023 at 2:00 pm #205721Maybe bad is finished and maybe we need to show sone balls and start selling some big names. City fighting fir everything and we are just sift. 5-6/1 this will finish.
Full credit to city. Much better team but we defensively dreadful. No complaints enjoy that with guys. Robbo had being absolutely dreadful going forward and marehz has ripped him apart.

1st April 2023 at 2:03 pm #205722That subs batch would suggest Kloop has thrown in the towel for this game, rested some for next game and give a little run-about for some others…

1st April 2023 at 2:05 pm #205723Sean, a problem is that Klopp tends to make teams better than they actually are. So when he first came in, he could do that and build them up. Now though, I think some of these players egos have gone through the roof and they’re still trying to live off previous success. And with little squad depth there’s no one to put pressure on them.

1st April 2023 at 2:16 pm #205725Ah vvd looks dreadful mikuis. No pace and weak as fuck. Trent aswell. Do we need to be ruthless and sell one of them or do we give them time to try rediscover their form
Iβve always supported Trent but he really is very poor. Nearly walking fir Grealish goal.

1st April 2023 at 2:20 pm #205726With how deep we are into the season, and with how it’s gone, how could any of our players have an ego. The sky text says its a humbling, again how could any of our players need humbling more than they already have been this season. Its not humility they need, it’s a fucking left hook.

1st April 2023 at 2:22 pm #205727The problem is we can’t sustain our success the way others have, so some of the players have got too comfortable. Apparently there will be spending in the summer. How much and how effective it will be is another question.

1st April 2023 at 2:35 pm #205728Liverpool have the same problem as Spurs, they don’t refresh the squad sufficiently, a couple of new players of no real special qualities is not going to work. A top team needs more than that.

1st April 2023 at 2:39 pm #205729One man really sticking his neck out today and as much as I dislike him, Kudos to Jack Grealish. As soon as goal number 3 went in, it was men against boys.
Those substitutes were ineffective because not one attack until the dying minutes. Jota didn’t really cause any problems apart from his lay off to Salah, Elliot’s too inexperienced.
Gakpo did really well, but we were seriously outmuscled and all this without Haaland and Foden.
Congrats City; very hard to stomach and this was David v Goliath

1st April 2023 at 2:43 pm #205730That’s the problem Sean mate. Pep’s been bold this season based on last year’s weakness in defense and signed Akanji. He got rid of Cancello, has placed all his dependency on Diaz, but formulated a partnership with Ake. This is new blood.
We on the other hand have ball-watched and relied on Trent. Van Dijk is off it and he knows it. There is no good starring at the sky. Henderson looks really crestfallen. I like Gakpo and I think Nunez will be better next season, but it’s clearly we need a 200 million investment.

1st April 2023 at 4:37 pm #205734Brentford really worth their place and have every right the way things stand with them currently leading Brighton.
Brighton themselves aren’t that much of a bad team, but like us, inconsistent. We’re also 16 points above relegation yet 30 points behind Arsenal. Is there any surprise we were thumped today? Everybody I’m sure saw this coming.
