Would love to see Brentford go up
One of the most exciting players outside the ol is benrehma off Brentford.
Few teams I canβt stand are
Wba and Burnley ?
Be great to see Leeds go up

17th July 2020 at 6:29 pm #130639I quite like Brentford too Sean π Be nice to see some new teams come up.
1-1 Half-time which would be enough for Leeds if West Brom fail to turn it around.

17th July 2020 at 6:50 pm #130653I’ve always had a soft spot for Brentford before I was allowed to travel on my own to Stamford Bridge Brentford were my nearest team and a short bus ride away from Twickenham and I was allowed to go to Griffin Park on my own.

17th July 2020 at 7:07 pm #130662Lads how poor has var been since the return. I l is itβs the first season but itβs been terrible
Trent should have been sent off againest arsenal
Ayew clearly elbowed the burnley player not even a yellow
The push on Kane
Zaha last night and utd score
Everton pen v Leicester
And thatβs the ones I just remember off the top of my head
Just shocking decisions and no excuse for not getting them right.

17th July 2020 at 7:44 pm #130685Sean, yes mate π It’s now in Brentford’s hands.
Only 1 point behind WBA with a game in hand. Stoke away, but I think they’re safe from the drop, so it’ll be an interesting one tomorrow lunch time.
Cheers

17th July 2020 at 8:19 pm #130709“Leeds United have been promoted to the Premier League after 16 years away.
Their place in the top flight for next season was confirmed by West Brom’s 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town on Friday.
Leeds will now be crowned champions if Brentford do not beat Stoke on Saturday or the Whites then take a point from Sunday’s visit to Derby County.” BBC Football.
Congrats to Leeds good to see them back.

17th July 2020 at 8:33 pm #130719Lol, just realized my blunder re Brentford and the Maths in Goal Difference being Superior. Got caught in the moment π Promotion though it is π
Elsewhere, West Ham so far have had a great first half with 2 goals to the good.

17th July 2020 at 9:43 pm #130758Good Point Sean on VAR. Generally, it’s the Offside Ruling that’s causing the Stir.
Obviously, if the decision made goes in favour of your Team, then nobody really will say anything.
I always look back to 1994 in line with USA94 when the Rule had been modified in favour of The Forward.
Now we’re seeing decisions being judged on Millimeters and Armpit Etc. We are always quick to visualize ‘Goal-hanging’. But as you’re well aware, Defenders ‘Design’ themselves to be Clever making the Forward look as if he’s Offside, miles offside.
We could look at a Possibility of a ‘Threshold’ and Leverage beneficial to the Attacking Player.
That could be a potential Framework Set. It’s then deciding the Length/Level of Tolerance The Officials can Accept in Favour of the Striker.
Cheers

17th July 2020 at 10:21 pm #130780Ah I know what your saying nil mate but itβs not the offsides that really get to me. Even though with some offside decisions they will move the lines to Try prove its offside when itβs far to close to call. Bobby firmino at Villa for example. He was not offside
Itβs the other decisions like penalties not given, elbows to the face, high tackles etc that drive me mad

18th July 2020 at 1:49 pm #131224Ah come on Brentford
A draw is even good to keep it in their own hands as their goal difference Is superior to wba
