Liverpool have got to go up a gear if they want to win this match.

11th July 2020 at 4:41 pm #127336AnonymousWe have Oxlade coming on. I’d much prefer Hendo TBH. This is what you get when players pick up knocks though. The Ox can be good for a goal and we’re going to need one.

11th July 2020 at 4:56 pm #127343AnonymousNot good enough. We’ve really just pissed away the PL points record. I mean, it’s not likely that we’ll get another chance at that. Oh well.
Worth noting another assist today for Fabinho but besides that one goal, we didn’t have our shooting boots on at all. A lot of tame efforts into easily save-able areas for the keeper. There were some really good shots though that me did really well to save and he’s a top keeper , so he did. Worth noting also the lack of saves that Alisson is making since the restart.

11th July 2020 at 4:57 pm #127344Shame to be dropping points at home, but at some point, this would happen. We can still reach the 100 point mark, but the remaining games ahead are going to be tricky.

11th July 2020 at 5:16 pm #127353AnonymousSteveo, they very well might. Liverpool don’t seem at it since they secured the title.

11th July 2020 at 5:54 pm #127368Interestingly Chelsea & Leicester have pretty much scored the same amount of goals this season but Chelsea have conceded 12 more goals than Leicester giving them the poorest goal difference in the top 5. Will it come home to haunt them?

11th July 2020 at 8:30 pm #127435Steveo, but it doesnβt change the fact that Chelsea now have the worst defensive record of the top 4/5 clubs and by some distance. 49 goals now conceded. In fact you have to go down to 11th place before you find the next club to have conceded as many. It reminds me a bit of Rodgers at Liverpool. Great going forward but far too leaky at the back, which is ultimately what cost winning trophies with him. Just too naive. Iβd be a bit worried for them.

11th July 2020 at 9:14 pm #127457AnonymousChelsea will sort out their defence. They are working on the areas that have the best player availability right now. Of course they could go for whats his face. The lad in Italy, CB I think for Napoli… Forget his name some how.

11th July 2020 at 11:10 pm #127509Burnley’s tactics (the rare times they attack) seems to be to knock the goalkeeper over until the ref starts to ignore it?
