Missed the first twenty, and apart from a couple of corners around the 40-minute mark, it’s been all Spuds.
Should we be further in front? Dunno, we weren’t that good, I think a somewhat rudderless looking Everton are making us look better than what we are. I thought they would be better than this.
Or is it just the incredible soulless atmosphere which makes everything look a lot more boring than what it is?

What struck me from the incident involving Lloris and Son is that Jose in his post-match interview described it as ‘beautiful’. Whilst it shows that players do actually care about the current status, the more underlying thought perhaps could be that it lifts the burden or takes away pressure from Jose alone when he’s having to face the Media.
Maybe he feels alone as a Manager and needs the support of his players which he may not have had from previous clubs he’s managed when in adversity.
He knows what he took on from the start, but there could be frustrations that Jose’s not quite making the progress he thought he would.
If he’s intending on being at the club for the foreseeable future then maybe he needs to cut himself slack and just go with the flow. There are several clubs in the 40 point bracket and a TOP 6 Finish is still Achievable.

Nil, you hit the nail on the head with “it shows that players do actually care” Jose and the squad are obviously under pressure and they need to fight for results with that in mind it was a positive reaction imo.
Top 4/top 5 looks a tough nut for Spurs to crack but if 5th place does become a CL place Spurs aren’t totally out of it and certsinly a Europa League place is still there for them to fight for. Cheers 9’s

Most of the games Iβve enjoyed since lockdown involve Chelsea. They was a very good game but it must be hard being a Chelsea fan watching them defend!

Good win for us and a much-needed one after our last away game. Pulisic is turning out to be some player this season. I think Frank is thinking of selling his entire back four and keeper. you have to feel nervy every time a team attacks Chelsea. I’m not comfortable with Christensen there. he is prone to moments of a lapse in concentration.
