mav – last week you said kovakic and jorginho were the most overrated players around. you really do like to be dramatic, don’t you? when will Newcastle be announcing their 800m worth of signings that they officially bid for 3 months ago and agreed personal terms with?
lo celso is playing just fine. not sure why you’re asking whats happened to him.

6th July 2020 at 3:27 pm #126296Forgot about Lo Cecil… who’s probably been our player of the season.
Guess that’s why I’m not earning 15 million a year to be a bitch. π
And welcome back to Liver-likey-nikey-nil or whatever your name is! Just behave yourself!!

6th July 2020 at 4:47 pm #126298Thanks Brian, Hope You Are Well too.
Chucks, I’ll try haha. I’m on Holiday for a couple of weeks π Good thing I like about this new fixture programme is that there’s games to follow or watch everyday π

6th July 2020 at 5:10 pm #126299Mav,if it all goes wrong for Jose at Spurs as it might well do then I can’t see him getting another major job in the PL.
Bristol City are looking for a new Manager though.?

6th July 2020 at 5:48 pm #126301If?!?!? IF if goes wrong!?!?!?
I’ll have some of what you’re smoking if (see what I did there?) you think it isn’t in any way likely to go tits up… the nearest you’ll get to a bet on that is IF it goes tits up this side of Christmas or not.

6th July 2020 at 6:10 pm #126302Chucky, forget whether it’s Mourinho or not you can’t judge any Manager on just 7 months a large slice of which has been interrupted by Cov19.
The problems at Spurs have been coming for a while and pre date Mourinho by quite some time and as other posters have indicated Spurs problems probably go deeper than just Mourinho .
Mourinho needed a good Summer transfer window to try and sort the issues in the squad out circumstances have probably denied him that.
“As it might well do” was also an integral line in my post”.
Put Pep or Klopp in charge of Spurs under the current circumstances there and they would struggle the squad is unbalanced and whoever the Manager is they will have to work on a restricted budget which has always been the way with Levy but the debt on the ground and Cov19 have added to that.

6th July 2020 at 6:18 pm #126304Come on puppy, it goes tits up everywhere he goes, sooner or later, and considering he isn’t in a position to buy his way out of trouble now, I’m voting on sooner. Simples as dimples.
We’re not winning anything this year, and he won’t be around long enough next year. Spuds will be the club that breaks Maureen’s “Trophy At Every Club” record… and he’s already got his excuses…

6th July 2020 at 6:20 pm #126305And as you added a bit more, I’ll add a bit more…
Bet your bottom dollar either Pepe or Kloop would get them fired up a bit more, and even possibly play sexy but losing footy (the Spuds Way!), rather than losing while looking like a pile of not very nice things.

6th July 2020 at 6:25 pm #126306Chucky, you can’t take one word from a post, the whole line was,
“if it all goes wrong for Jose at Spurs as it might well do then I canβt see him getting another major job in the PL.”
It was hardly a ringing endorsement. π
Chucky Spurs problems go much wider than just Jose.

6th July 2020 at 6:31 pm #126311Totally agree Spuds problems are more than Maureen, but it takes a special type of numptie to pour fuel on the fire and act surprised when he singes his own eyebrows off…

6th July 2020 at 6:41 pm #126314Buffy and yourself can go and get a room then… I can only hope you get as much satisfaction as I do when YooUtd lose, and they’re not even do that these days… football, bloody hell, eh?
I am going to challenge myself to at least not turn it off until half-time… (Banjo’s says 0-0!)
And I’m only doing that because HBO hasn’t uploaded this weeks episode of “Billions”…
Wendy Rhoades is the sexiest character on TV by the way… don’t care what anybody thinks.
