Nine, he was fouled before he handled the ball so it should have been a free so the ref, var whoever should have got they right chum. As I said in my post, handball is in the rules chum but he was fouled before he handled it

But the Kane goal was disallowed for handball by Moura and by the current rules of the game that was the correct decision. Stupid but correct.?

“It’s just the unfortunate part of the new law. The referee and the VAR are blameless. The ball strikes Moura’s arm as he falls, quite inadvertently. The law is set up now that if it strikes the arm and leads directly to a goalscoring opportunity, which it does, the goal should be disallowed. Ye I knows nine lol ? I know that’s why the goal was not given mate. I said that twice my son with regards the handball chum but why didn’t bar calm the play back for a free after goal was not given mate?

I think the Referee made the decision on the free kick mate but Gallagher agrees with you saying Moura was fouled but Kavanagh played the advantage I don’t think VAR would interfere with that decision.

We’ve lost something in attack this season but have had a greater mentality to eke narrow victories out. But as I’ve recently said, I still think we need some more attacking options.

We do Mikus. I’ve been calling for the signing of Werner. The lads need competition for their place, just as they did for the PL. The second we locked it in mathematically, we get utterly smashed, it’s no coincidence. Also of course these lads up top cant be fresh the entire time.

Let’s see about this midfield though, I’ve asked questions of them before. Ox can definitely answer questions sometimes but of course most of them are on Keita.

Mak the new handball rule is only relevant to offensive situations when goals are scored or goal scoring opportunities are created. Handball by a defensive player still needs to be deemed deliberate.
