1st March 2020 at 3:55 pm #79525Much better 2nd half at Goodison especially from Everton with both Keepers redeeming themselves with good saves at the end. Carlo sent off at the end.

1st March 2020 at 3:59 pm #79527AnonymousHaha Everton blatantly robbed, our refs are so poor compared to the last century when we had the best in the world.

1st March 2020 at 4:03 pm #79529I don’t know Moos that as a difficult one to give on the basis of where Sigurdsson was.

1st March 2020 at 4:20 pm #79530I agree with Moos,9s,blatant robbery for Everton,a clear goal not given as Sigurdsson was not interfering with the play.Massive win for the Wolverines and it could make for a very interesting race for the 4th.

1st March 2020 at 4:21 pm #79531Itβs a really difficult one, DDG wasnβt unsighted by Sigurdsson as he was moving to stop the original shot and would never have got near the deflection, on the other hand Sigurdsson had to move out of the way. Weβve all seen them given and not given, for me as a neutral, I wouldnβt care which way it went as long as the ref and his assistant made the decision instead of shirking responsibility…..Pagan

Why the fook do you start with our best 2 CB’s and possibly best midfielder on the bench? Why? Looked on the phone about 30 minutes before kick-off, thought WTF?!?!?!, and have been proven correct.
Season now over. See you all next August perhaps. Hopefully we’ll have a new manager.

1st March 2020 at 4:49 pm #79535Mav, the problem was that Sigurdsson was interfering with play because he was sitting directly in the line of De Gea”s sight.
He shouldn’t have been there and should have got himself up instead of sitting on the ground ironically I don’t think De Gea would have saved it because it took a wicked deflection.

1st March 2020 at 4:57 pm #795369s-Thats my point,DDG was nowhere near to saving it,Sigurdsson didnt touch the ball, and it took a deflection from a UNITED player.Clear goal ruled out & Everton robbed of 3 points.VAR is shite.

1st March 2020 at 5:18 pm #79538Stones has clearly been to the Phil Jones school of CB play and learnt a lot!

1st March 2020 at 5:19 pm #79539But that doesn’t matter based on the laws of the game Mav in the position Sigurdsson was sitting he was deemed to be interfering with Dr Gea’s line of sight. Tough on Everton though and their fans when you think you’ve won it.
Personally I would have preferred it counted.?

1st March 2020 at 5:23 pm #79541Shows you how difficult it is I thought no goal, he was too close to the keeper before it hit the Utd player.
Difficult one. Not sure what the answer is?_____________________________

1st March 2020 at 5:55 pm #79543Chucky, Jose has a contract until 2023 and it would cost more money than Daniel will want to pay to get rid of him and to be fair he’s lost his best two offensive players and Eriksen who previously was Spurs creative hub. It’s going to take time at Spurs.

1st March 2020 at 6:07 pm #79544As a neutral I really enjoyed Everton -United game ,could have gone either way, no comment on VAR. I want Norwich to beat Spurs during the week, if it gets moaner out of my club as soon as possible. WTF was that line up today, Outs Kane , Sonny, Disco and Lloris fair do’s all injured, but Toby & Ndombele on the bench???? So we have 4 of our best X1 out and he drops another two !! Liverpool are light years ahead of the rest, but I’m sure they wouldn’t beat a very good Wolves with 6 of their X1 out.
If he is saving players for the Cup during the week, don’t bother it’s not as if we could win the fucking FA Cup._____________________________

1st March 2020 at 9:26 pm #79549AnonymousFor those spurs fan moaning, vertonghen is finished. Been useless pretty much every time heβs played. Ndombele doesnt deserve to start right now. Heβs good and shows glimpses of excellence but heβs lazy and canβt play longer than 45 minutes. Toby on the bench made no sense and neither did having Eric dier anywhere near the team. There were mistakes from JM but he has taken us from a relegation battle to a top 4 battle with a shockingly bad squad made worse with injuries to multiple key players.

1st March 2020 at 11:02 pm #79550AnonymousI seem to be the only one who thinks Evertons winner was correctly ruled out. The player is partially obstructing and also arguably active. Technically I think you’ve got to make a move towards the ball to be active, which he’s not really done. he has however made a move because of the ball and that movement threw the keeper off. So in my mind, that is him being “active”, just as doing a step-over would be considered to be a part of dribbling, regardless or not that the player doesn’t actually touch the ball.
Pickford is an absolutely useless keeper. There’s no positive argument to be made for him, he’s terrible.
anyway im knackered but thought I’d say that bit. NN

2nd March 2020 at 5:04 am #79552AnonymousLooks like we have a serious problem in the EPL with just about all keepers, fortunately it’s nothing to worry about for England though, media reports Shilton is back in training.
