Good effort by West Ham which made it a decent watch.

24th February 2020 at 9:58 pm #75171Ox made a difference when he came on
It’s just madness to think we have only dropped two points all season
18 straight wins. Crazy stats

24th February 2020 at 9:58 pm #75172AnonymousStupid foul to make in the end by Matip. he was brought on to help us defend and he does that?… Anyway we won and I think we deserved it but West Ham were pretty good, in fairness to them. What are they doing in relegation?
Anyway, just happy to see the flanks working better and for us to get the win. Good stop on 88 mins by Alisson also. A lot of keepers let that past them and as a result, don’t win.

24th February 2020 at 10:03 pm #75178West Ham had a go tonight mak. Not many teams do at anfield. We can be got at, just most of the time teams are afraid to attack us

25th February 2020 at 8:36 am #75628Poor effort all round last night…from the players and fans. Though the conditiond didn’t help – very, very windy and bloody freezing – I thought we looked complacent, and yet again, too many players performing below their best. It feels churlish to be moaning when we are 22 points clear at the top, but we haven’t really been at our frightening best much this season. So many times we have done just enough, like last night. Anyway who cares? I can’t really grumble, but we will have to play better than last night against Madrid, and the fans will have to be more up for it as well. Very flat atmosphere last night, until we went behind.
But, hey, 4 more wins!

27th February 2020 at 8:03 am #77394HH, you made a very good point recently mate. If we lose to Madrid and Chelsea are season is over really.
I don’t care about records or Unbeat runs. I’d rather be involved big cup games
People can say what they want about the fa cup but Chelsea away is always a big game and I hope we put a decent team out.
I’m very concerned about athletico at home. Worst draw possible and I think we will really struggle to break them down
Our defence can be got as they showed in the 1st leg when they bothered to attack
We have kept a lot of clean sheets but I don’t think our defense is as strong as the clean sheets show. We concede some very clear cut chances in games and we are lucky we have a world class keeper

27th February 2020 at 8:33 am #77416Sean I’m with you mate, I guess we can hope for another unbelievable Anfield atmosphere & the lads respond in kind. I’m not confident one bit about this Athletico game. Would be disappointing to go out here but I guess you can’t have it all, we’ve got the one we’ve been chasing for 3 decades & I’d have taken that in a heartbeat at the start of the season.
That said The FA cup has a real soft spot for me as it’s what got me into LFC as a kid so I’d really love for us to go well on that one._____________________________

27th February 2020 at 8:41 am #77421There be no complaints Aussie mate. It was just a good point HH made the other day
Winning the pl is the biggest thing in 30 years. It’s absolutely massive for us, anything else is a huge bonus
I remember after winning 2005 cl we went out the next year to be benfica after losing 1-0 away
