That penalty sums up our casual mindset today.

11th March 2023 at 2:29 pm #205265Poor and clearly we have 2 facets; one clearly can’t cope playing away from home effectively all season. We simply didn’t turn up. 8 defeats; we do not deserve 4th place which supposed to be a reward for a Champions League Place and Prestigious.
Last week going into this week means little if we’re going to lose like this. I wasn’t too confident going into the game and this is why. Can’t use injuries as an excuse. We even had a lifeline with a Pen which we fluffed. Absolutely Awful.

11th March 2023 at 2:40 pm #205266We don’t really have a great record too on 12:30 kick-offs; these players just looked like they can’t be arsed.

11th March 2023 at 2:52 pm #205267Given how woeful the race for top 4 has been over recent seasons, maybe not out of it yet. One question for Klopp, given our vulnerabilities at the moment, why not keep the same line up for a few weeks? Don’t think the changes help, though they obviously should have done better.

11th March 2023 at 2:54 pm #205268Knew we were in trouble when I saw the two kids in midfield. There are both talented with great futures but who is the one to instigate the press? Not the senior player Fabinho who reverted back to the 76 year old we known too often this season.
Having said that it wasn’t all down to the midfield. Too casual by far. It’s like we can only play at 100% or nothing. This slower pace style makes certain players far too relaxed and lazy. Happened many times this season its not a coincidence we make stupid casual mistakes when out tempo drops.

11th March 2023 at 3:00 pm #205269Vvd was our worst player today. Bullied by solanke. It was terrible but FairPlay to Bournemouth. We really havenβt been great recently even after Sunday and this is no surprise . Terrible passing and just weak all round

11th March 2023 at 3:12 pm #205271Took about 3 minutes for somebody to draw the lines on the screen, they settled on a picture that looked like it was taken from the roof, or possibly a passing aeroplane, you could barely see even the players, let alone delicate parts of anatomy… absoultely did not prove a single thing one way or the other… except possibly the number of
antsplayers on the pitch._____________________________

11th March 2023 at 3:18 pm #205273Klopp must be tearing his hair out at that lot. No good turning up for the big games like Utd and City at home then just being so careless and lacklustre against the poorer sides. Today yet another reminder to Utd and Ten Hag just how awful we must have been to get spanked like that against Liverpool.

11th March 2023 at 3:25 pm #205276Ed you need to ask why Liverpool are good at Utd and City but terrible against lesser ability teams. I’m a firm believer that it’s the way they are set up, how they prepare during the week. I get the feeling they feel the need to pass around a low block so use possession tactics and lower tempo whilst against City and Utd its back to the tactics that brought Liverpool and Klopp success.
Said it many times there’s usually a reason why players play crap and that usually stems from the training pitch. We don’t have the players for possession tactics.

11th March 2023 at 3:42 pm #205277“Today yet another reminder to Utd and Ten Hag just how awful we must have been to get spanked like that against Liverpool.”
Little bit disrespectful to be honest, it’s not like we are always shit. We played very well against Utd in that 2nd half and utd got what they deserved. Besides the whole “you beat them and they beat us” whatever argument never makes sense as anyone can beat anyone on their day. Utd were outclassed on that day, massively, today we underperformed.

11th March 2023 at 4:13 pm #205279Wasn’t meant to be disrectful Threeps. The Liverpool defeat for us was every bit as much about you being great as it was about us being poor. But you’re not really demolishing teams like you were a couple of seasons back. All I mean is we absolutely shouldn’t be getting torn apart like that by a side who can’t get past Bournemouth and sides like that and who themselves were hammered by Madrid. You’re absolutely right though that football doesn’t work like that. You were fully deserving of the win and the score last weekend. All the more reason Klopp must be wondering what on earth his players are playing at when they then look so poor in games like today. Same goes for Ten Hag though who must be wondering the same about last weekend.

11th March 2023 at 4:22 pm #205281That’s the point though ed. It’s not comparable. We’re complete Jekyll and Hyde this season. Unable to motivate ourselves for the so called lesser teams, but seem to be up for the big games. Bournemouth and Man Utd didn’t face the same team, despite what the fixture list says. I’m sick to the back teeth with them.
