Rylan misses a sitter. Crazy starting him he should have come on as a sub, he would have buried it then.

12th February 2018 at 9:02 pm #15400That is why we should not play this false system which has false 9. it takes Hazard completely off the game.

12th February 2018 at 9:55 pm #15404Amen ! Michael Owen thinks Chelsea might miss the top 4. the last time he predicted that? September 2016?

13th February 2018 at 6:04 am #15408Well we might not have a fight for the title this season but the top 4 fight could be an interesting one now. Out of interest, from 2nd (Utd) down to 6th (Arsenal) which managers do people think would/wouldn’t survive finishing outside the top 4? I think Klopp and Poch are possibly the only ones who would almost certainly keep their jobs. Jose just signed a new deal but could he really survive finishing 5th? I’m not sure. Conte surely a goner if he doesn’t get in top 4?

13th February 2018 at 6:33 am #15409Reckon Conte is gone, regardless, they only possible why he might be staying is if Chelski win Big-Ears.
I also reckon Maureen is safe regardless based on a combination of where would he go (he’s ego won’t let him take a sabbatical that’s for sure), and who would they get?
As you say, both Klopp and Poncho are pretty much save and Wenger can seemingly do no wrong.
I reckon we’re not going to see any managerial changes actually (other than Conte π )

13th February 2018 at 6:55 am #15412Is Pep safe I wonder? He’s lost a game now!
As for Jose, I disagree slightly. Utd not getting CL again is just not acceptable with the money spent. Unless they somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat and win the CL, I think he could be gone. He’s done it with worse squads! (twice!). If Utd won nothing and finished outside the top 4, he’d be gone, and rightly so. Utd aren’t Arsenal and just won’t accept no trophies.

13th February 2018 at 7:37 am #15414But that’s some big IF’S mate, I would be very surprised (yet very happy!) if your mob missed out on Top 4 this year.

13th February 2018 at 8:12 am #15419If we are to believe the media. regardless of whatever happens Conte is on his way out. and the problem as they say is bigger than success on the pitch. its a power struggle behind the scenes. i hope its resolved amicably and Conte stays. its good for us and for the league. and despite his problems and the threat of the sack. he is only 3 points behind the second placed united, and only 19 points behind the first placed City ( tongue in cheek ). anyway he has Hull City at home which gives him the chance to progress in to the quarters of the FA cup for the second successive season. but i guess that is not enough and he is doing worse job than Pochettino, Klopp and Mourinho.

13th February 2018 at 8:48 am #15426I’m not sure Conte will be at Chelsea from the start of next season whatever happens.

13th February 2018 at 9:13 am #15427Considering the transfer/wages budget of each club the table should probably be looking something like below:
1) City
2) YooUtd
3) Chelski
4) Goonies
5) Pool
6) SpudsSo any team above their respective position are doing great and get a “Well Done” on their school report and those below getting “Not good enough, must try harder”.
There’s a big difference on “expectations” and “realizations”.

13th February 2018 at 4:01 pm #15482I agree with Ed on here,I reckon Jose will be gone if United fail to win a trophy and finish outside top4.And even he manages to finish top4 but no trophies,he should go regardless with all the money spent!
Arsenal are just a joke for the past few years now, keeping that serial looser in charge, nobody takes him/them seriously anymore!_____________________________
