Threeps, I have to agree with Mikus about last few games. We were very timid in last two games. Not enough fight and people going missing.
Keita lost the ball and strolled back. We lost so many 50/50 balls. No desire only mane really. No balls for the fight.
Vvd looks Unfit or sick. Loads of mistakes now. Giving the ball away in silly areas.
Itβs all are own doing at the minute. We just need to get two good performances in before utd game
Donβt really care about Munich game but would like to see us perform well. Everything shoukd be about the league now
Win Saturday but play well. We need to be going to old tarford in good form and confident otherwise we be turned over.

6th February 2019 at 2:28 pm #32994It’s all about the next 13 games now with injuries, squad depths, and fixture congestion coming into it and Liverpool have a definite advantage on the latter.
Going deep into the CL may play a part too as might the two games at OT to come for both Liverpool and City.
Very difficult to call.

6th February 2019 at 2:37 pm #32995Nine agreed.
I think we may suffer from too many games. Why we have to play tonight I dont know. Could have been rescheduled for April.
I think having so many games is a real disadvantage but we will see. Liverpool out of both cups
and maybe a difficult CL to progress might be what they need? They have more time to recover and likely to get less injuries.

6th February 2019 at 3:03 pm #32998I went to watch West Ham vs Liverpool and I was disgusted by what I was hearing. People like this deserve no place in our society let alone football matches. #kickracismout @22mosala @FA pic.twitter.com/M4dBsMrCy8

6th February 2019 at 4:19 pm #33000Sean, I’m not saying we were good the last two games, in fact we were pretty awful. But I disagree with those who are all doom and gloom. We are a good team and having a good season, and we are in a good position, could be better, could be worse. We are poor at the moment but it wasn’t that long ago when we blew Arsenal away with some great play. It will come back, I’m sure (fairly sure anyway!).
We don’t have much quality in depth, that is being shown now as injuries and illness is taking its toll. Having said that when City had their little blip wasn’t a few top players out too? So a blip can happen to anyone. Let’s just hope ours is coming to an end eh?

6th February 2019 at 4:20 pm #33001That’s poor…very poor!. Every crowd has it’s idiots and West Ham have always had their fair share. Stuck in the 1970’s

6th February 2019 at 4:22 pm #33002AnonymousWe were pretty average in plenty of the first 20 games. Lots of low score wins. Some skin of the teeth results. All down to the defence. This isn’t just me agreeing with Mikus, or hindsight. I said it at the time.
The defence is no longer bailing us out so while we wait for Gomez to come back, we’ve got to get the attack to get us out of trouble and to secure the points by stepping up and scoring more goals.
“I donβt get this βthe defence bailed us outβ. No, the team was set up to defend better.”
It’s not an either or. Both statements are true. The team defended better but also, the defence bailed us out.

6th February 2019 at 4:53 pm #33003Can Everton do us a favour tonight? Is there a will on their part to win tonight (bearing in mind the consequences)?
No to both questions, I feel, but you never know

6th February 2019 at 5:09 pm #33006The next time I expect Everton to play well is when we meet them at Goodison
I remember in 2014 when city went there, you could hear a pin drop after Everton scored. Fans donβt want to win tonight
Shocking team considering the money they have spent
Iβve no doubt Silva be sacked soon

Look at everyone team ffs. Your man hasnβt a clue
By the way I think Laporte looks a top player these days. Reminds me a bit of agger and vertoghen

Bet youve got your Royal Blue scarf on tonight!
Weird when the team you always hope will lose you want them to win,
Like when Utd play you soon I’ll want Utd to win. Any other time the opposite._____________________________

6th February 2019 at 7:38 pm #33012Strong line up by Marco Silva and he’s reshuffled the Defence. Bernard and Walcott a threat, but the glue and a welcome back to Gueye.
Would expect naturally Man City to return to Top Spot – almost 2 months since we occupied it and it was good while it last.
Oh Well π

6th February 2019 at 7:51 pm #33013Three P’s, tend to agree on both your posts. Nine’s explanation from yesterday on the point of Momentum and the way we’ve played of late is what I think is the ‘mechanism’ that’s inflicting doubt.
This time last Wednesday we were in a slightly different position to what we find ourselves in, those the facts as they stand simply would mean on the back of tonight that Man City would have played a game more.
It is a different experience from 2013/14 because that team was all under Brendan Rodgers and although Klopp has experience of winning in Germany, this is a new experience and he himself I’m sure aware that a lot of this is about holding the pressure together and just getting over the finishing line.
Keep The Faith Mate.

6th February 2019 at 8:08 pm #33014These 20 minutes have flown and credit to Everton.
I keep noticing the same pattern in the Man City using the left-side to pose a threat and basically, they always try and find pockets of space and bag a goal from close range. This is what Everton need to watch out for.
To be fair up to now, they’ve done well to withstand City’s pressure.

6th February 2019 at 8:09 pm #33015The atmosphere though is bad.
It’s as if City are expected to win.
Everton are playing like the Away Team.
