Better second half on the whole with aggression and more control, but our heads at the same time have dropped when it comes to restoring our lead.

4th February 2019 at 9:24 pm #32877Now I realise just how much we miss Gomez. Matip just looks lost. We need reinforcements in the summer.

4th February 2019 at 9:24 pm #32878AnonymousNOW we’re making the change. **** sake like. I hope its for Keita and not Lallana but I guess fitness is the thing that makjes the call.
Nil, I’ve been banging on about Gomez for ages. Its no doubt annoying people but I do it so the non-Liverpool fans get that exposure. All the talk has been about Van Dijk and it’s just unfair.

4th February 2019 at 9:28 pm #32881At the moment with where the attack and the defence is, this side looks like Liverpool 2016/17 spec.

4th February 2019 at 9:30 pm #32882AnonymousIt does, because we lack leadership. This is something I have given out about with Henderson, many times. Where is it now? there isnt a player out there who’s calming the lads down and showing some spine. We’re headless out there. We’re just lacking so much right now and need someone to step up.
My thoughts are that if it’s gonna be someone, it’s gonna be Robertson or Mane.

4th February 2019 at 9:36 pm #32887AnonymousShaqiri has been poor since he came on. This is not good enough at all. I hate being right but I said that this game was the test. We’ve just over 10 minutes to prove that they are up to it but thye are making hard work of it.
Ultimately, hard work can be fine..

4th February 2019 at 9:53 pm #32890Well played!
I actually enjoyed that as tactical changes paved a better second half.
Just shows none of these games are easy. Origi coming so close and Allison nearly giving me a heart-attack at the other end.
We’re 3 points ahead, but will probably lose our Top Spot since holding it from early December.

4th February 2019 at 9:53 pm #32891Another potentially poor decision from the linesman there that could have won it for Liverpool.
Liverpool are a bit wobbly currently and they will need to calm themselves if they are to win it they are still 3 points clear and it’s still in their own hands.

4th February 2019 at 9:54 pm #32892Not enjoyed really some of the evening games and different days to the norm of Saturday and Sunday. Even if City win, we can restore our lead if we beat Bournemouth.
Hopefully Chelsea on Sunday can help us.

4th February 2019 at 9:57 pm #32894One everyone could see this wobble coming and itβs typical Liverpool and very easy to see why I donβt get carried away. That was dreadful. Absolutely pathetic when you think we are supposed to be in a title race.
West ham wanted it more. We bottled it again. We didnβt turn up and no way did we deserve a draw.
Defence looks poor again. Conceding loads of chances. There is absolutely no doubt city will win the keague as we donβt have the balls for it

4th February 2019 at 9:59 pm #32896Yeah, you’re right. Just the nature of the beast mate. It’s harder too when we’ve not for so many years been in that position in knowing how to get over the line.
Remember initially in 93/94, Blackburn challenged United but couldn’t see through, but did get there the season after.
