As for him being off his line. He is. he went a fraction of a second too soon and is a bit off it. I’d be surprised if they retake that as I’ve seen way worse that is also not retaken.
As for Sterling, in my opinion yes that was a dive. They are all at it these days because refs for some reason do not punish diving. You know what though? They should add that to the VAR responsibilities next season. Clean up the game.

If players were sent off for a penalty that wasn’t given, then I’m not sure if any team would have immune from a red card, the ref took the correct decision, it wasn’t more than a collision between two players. those who live in a glass house should not throw stones lads, every team has their own divers. the game still looks evenly balanced, despite the City penalty miss, I hope they come back stronger than they are now.

Chelsea. Man, I know every team had divers. We are talking about this game though. Sterling dived in my opinion. He was already booked so should have been sent off. Heโs going down already and heโs trying to con the ref.

Mak, on two occasions sterling shouldโve been off. The tackle on alli was a disgrace/ how that was only a yellow only mike dean and the cunting VAR ref will know. Then shouldโve had a second yellow for diving but again ref bottled it despite VAR confirming it was a dive!

Sean, as I said before, it would have been unfair for Sterling to be sent off for that kind of incident when many had been let off the hook before. rules need to be consistent. I do however agree that he should have been sent off for the Ali tackle, that looked endangering a player. but not for that particular dive.
